I loved villa del palmar!! Me and my bf had an amazing time and will definitely rebook again! Highly recommend. The food was great and the orange juice I was in love with lol.The staff was so helpful and kind.Cant wait to go back!
Location of hotel is great. Bus stop right outside gate. Gym and spa facilities are fantastic. We arrived a week before Hurricane Odile. That week was really nice. During the hurricane, our room flooded (5th floor) but they moved us the next morning after the hurricane to a dry room on the ground floor. The staff was fantastic - working to clean up grounds and pool after the hurricane. The hotel provided food and got us back to airport on Thursday Sept 18 so we could get home.
I went there with all my family and I highly recommend this hotel resort. We fell in love with this place. It will be on my list from now. We spent 10 days in paradise that is how I can describe our adventure.

Great for taking the bus, being close to a hospital, the police station, a convince store.
Short walk to the mall, the beach, the Marina, and many dance clubs.
Bad if you don't like street noise, or the some noise from clubs down the street.
All very nice and helpful. I spoke to them both in Spanish and English. Really caring people.
Hotel room and pool:
Both small, but I didn't spend much time there so not a problem for me.
It was always very clean and the maids did a great job making everything very nice.
It has air conditioning.
We stayed for one week and our only complaint was that our room was quite far from lobby and entrance. I didn't mind the walk, which is up and down hills, because I enjoy exercising, but for elderly or out of shape people, they most likely will ask to move closer.

"Great location!! We loved the resort and staff!!!"
We had a great time for the first 2 1/2 days!!! Then hurricane Odile hit!!! It was horrible but let me say the staff and big THANK YOU TO WENDY our connoisseur, and all the staff every one of them!!! They did the very best that they could do in a horrible time!!! We did not get to finish our vacation, but when we did get home I called expedia and was give a refund on part of the money we spent on the two rooms!!! That was a very nice surprise. We are going to go back in two years and I will book with expedia and I will stay at the Marina Fiesta Resort!!!! I am telling every one I know if they go they need to stay there and book thought expedia!!! It was nice to check in and have a bucket of Corana and water with the limes and nuts!!!! It was a very nice way to start this vacation!!! It is just so sad how it ended but you cant control mother nature!!! Again the staff is just amazing there and the lady that I spoke with from expedia when I returned and received my refund was just amazing!!!! I cant wait to go back and see the beautiful place back to where it was!!!! Thank you for doing the best you could do and I hope the best for you all there!!!

If u want to relax in cabo Grand Solmar is the resort for you. It is 30 minutes away from the airport, 15 minutes walk to marina, and steps away to the ocean. It has 5 pools with 2 infinity pools overlooking the ocean. The services is great and the staffs are nice. All inclusive plan is worth the price. The only drawback is the construction going on around the resort but it doesn't bother the guests.
