"Myself, my husband and mother-in-law stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas over Christmas and had the most amazing time. The entire resort is impeccably clean, from the rooms to the restaurants to all the public areas, including the pools. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous, professional and very helpful. All the food was yummy, from the snack bars, buffet and specialty restaurants. The pools were warm and the staff entertained us throughout the day. The activities on Christmas eve were so fun and there were photo ops everywhere on the property."

"staff was incredible and truly made the stay so much fun! we loved the riu parties. there were plenty of pools to swim in. we also loved the in-room bar. food was okay, but you could live off of it without starving. the beach isn’t swimable but if u walk 10 minutes down there is a swimmable one. also in walking distance of people who do water taxis to swimable beaches. the people on the beach are a tad annoying with selling you things, but we understand it’s their business. in addition to the riu parties they also had different entertainment lined up every night and you could check the schedule on the riu app. overall we had a lovely time and are planning to go back here again! "

"The apartment was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen was well equipped. We were walking distance to the beach and, the hostess of the apartment was very helpful in answering our questions. There was both a good size heated pool and another pool for swimming lengths."

"BajaSur Beach is ~2 mi out of Cabo center and among several apt buildings across from Rui, an all-inclusive resort. The building and VR are safe (with 24/7 security), clean, quiet, and well-stocked. Parking spot is well marked and free. Most apt were occupied by vacationers. But all were in good behaviour. We tried the roof-top pool among 7PM ~Dec. 20. The wind is bit chilly, so was the water. we did not swim. Instead we enjoyed the great view 360. When we arrived WIFI was broken. Our TMobil essential package is horrible. msg could be received, but hard to send. Phone did work. We, as well as our hosts Ana/Renato, resolved these early difficulty and confusion. WIFI was fixed the next day. It was quite difficult the first day. But the effort by the hosts is regarded, and everything went smoothly afterwards. Thinks happen The road among the area is in need of repair, so are many other areas just outside of town centre. The locals seem building great apt but lousy roads, esp those for sharing. It could get muddy when it rains, and dusty when sun shines. "
