"The hotel’s location is very convenient, metro station is 8-10 minutes away, the spinning chandelier is 5 minutes, Granville public marker is very close as well, a lot of grocery stores around, cafes and restaurants. Also, our room was pretty big with small kitchen, microwave and even stove. Cleaning is every other day which is totally fine. "

"Nothing but good on this property, and the fact that its neighbor is a french style coffee shop is a bonus. Central location to Granville Street and others makes it perfect for finding eateries and more. My only complaint is that you need to be tall to access the hotel safes. If they can do something about that ....."

"This is an outstanding, classic and very elegant old school hotel in the center of downtown. It reminded us of the Plaza in NYC. Much is easily accessible, including Gastown and the waterfront. If you travel light and have a cruise booked, you can even easily walk to the docks and check in to your ship, though cabs are abundant. We booked a suite and were given a room that was impeccably appointed, not to mention spacious, with a huge walk-in closet and windows with multiple views of the city - one of the best rooms we've ever had. As for the staff, we've rarely encountered greater courtesy and professionalism. This is truly a 5 star hotel without pretentiousness. We couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. "
