"Great location for travelling on a budget."
I booked this room for 3 nights after having a problem with my Airbnb reservation. I was worried at first because of the reviews and also because this was the cheapest hotel option in the Waikiki Beach Area. The hotel staff were friendly and the room does the job. It's not luxurious by any means but the location is great and close to the beach and Ala Moana. The room could use an upgrade to the carpeting and furniture. We didn't have our rooms turned down any of the nights so I can't comment on house keeping and replenishing services. A nice feature here is that they do give you a card that lets you checkout DVD movies or games for free from 3 self-service kiosks downstairs. The player that they have inside is a PS3 so if you or your kids have some PS3 games to play during your stay, feel free to bring them. They offer wired internet in the rooms if you have a laptop. But if you want to use their WiFi, you can only do so downstairs in their lobby. The one complaint that I do have is the bath towels here. They were the roughest towels that I have ever used. I thought it might have just been one, but I tried 4 of them and they were all rough on the skin. At home, my towels aren't premium or anything, but even my $3 towel from Wal-Mart feels better than the towels here. There is overnight parking available for $25 a night, but don't get back too late because the lot filled up pretty quickly.

I enjoyed staying at the Manoa Surfrider Hotel due to the location and history of the hotel. The rocking chairs added a nice touch for when we wanted to relax and enjoy the surroundings

"Nice close to the beach for budget traveler!!!"
If you want save your money and get nice, clean, specious room, book this hotel. It's pretty close to the beach, 5 min walk and only 1 block away from the main shopping street. Stuff are very friendly and helpful, made us feel like we are at home. Room that we got was junior suite, we're upgraded and very grateful for that. This room is huge with conditioner that you can control and set up to your liking and it's new and quite. It's pretty quite unless you open windows to balcony. They provide with full set of amenities during the stay internet, free DVD rental, shuttle between hotels and to the mall. Bath amenities were amazing and replenished every day. You get 2 types of soap, shampoo, conditioner, gel and lotion. On the lobby in the morning can enjoy some coffee, water and apples that you can take free are there all day long. Big, comfy beds, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair drier available in the room. Second room that I received had iron board broken but once we asked, it got switched. Room is big enough to stay with big family of 4 ppl minimum. Sure if there are more people roll away bed can fit too and there will be still space to dance, lol. It's wardrobe is big as well and has safe in it. But be cautious as I only stayed in their junior suite and it's all about the room I experienced. Standard room will be much small with no balcony and windows will come out to inside yard overlooking construction. Book and enjoy staying in this hotel junior suite room!!

"Close to the beach"
The beach is right outside the door. The infinity pool is a nice area to relax. A very BUSY place overall and the staff come across a little judgemental as if they thought that a young couple like us wouldn't be staying at a pricey hotel like the sheraton. Overall our stay was good.

Hotel is not fancy but is modern, simple, contemporary, tasteful, clean - mostly younger/upscale crowd. Very short walk to Hilton's very nice beach & lagoon, and, Ala Moana shipping center. Can be little noisy, close to a major street.
