"The cottage itself was a little dated but clean and tidy with everything you needed. The view was spectacular but the road leading to the property was not for the faint hearted and very challenging. The small cottage is one of several holiday let’s on the same property and as the larger property was fully occupied with several visitors during our stay and between 6-10 cars we had to park outside the front of our bungalow which meant we saw our car not the view. Not bad but good be better."

"Hotel was very nice but old and could use some updating. Its in middle of nowhere with literally 2 miles of drive on narrow road in fields with no buildings in site. This did make it quiet. There was a nature trail that we did not have time to explore. It was convenient location for us as a stop on drive between Glascow and Liverpool"

Everything has been well thought out and the decor works seamlessly from reception to lounge, conservatory. Restaurant, corridors , landings and bedroom. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels and bedding. Lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly, pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent each breakfast and evening meal. The external seating areas worked well with well laid out patio and garden....

"Hotel was lovely but very steep drive way to get from the road to the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, didn't eat in the restaurant. Only complaint would be that there wasn't a fridge in the room. The room itself was spacious with a separate sofa . Pool area and spa were fabulous. "
