"Continental breakfast was a bit lacking. Am sure we had a selection of meats and cheese the last time we came. Coffee machine is terrible at breakfast , the one in the bar is great! , luke warm not nice at all. Staff are great, nice people. "

"We enjoyed our one night stay for my husbands birthday. We had a really enjoyable time in the spa and my husband would fully recommend the hot stone back massage by Meg. Our evening meals were beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast too. Bar staff, spa staff and reception staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. "Lovely large room spotlessly clean with comfortable large bed. Lovely decor, tea and coffee faclities and coffee machine. Nice bathroom with deep bath, great for a nice soak after a day walking. All staff very friendly and attentive. Good breakfast selection and dinner was excellent with great service. Ample parking and good base to visit local area. We will definitely be returning. One of the best hotels in the Lakes we've stayed in . Dog friendly rooms although we didnt bring our dog this time. "

"Plenty of parking spaces right outside the entrance. Staff are so friendly. Lake view from the well maintained gardens. Powerful hot shower. Lovely good priced food. Could do with a bit more drawer space in the family room, and a plug socket near the kettle. Would definitely recommend. Lovely warm swimming pool as well. Plenty of towels to use. "
