Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch!
Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

Great location...Great Rooms...Great Food...Great Staff.. particularly Jake and Sam in the Bar/Restaurant
Our go to place when looking for somewhere to stay , as we have done over many years .The staff are welcoming and always helpful if something is needed. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable with views over the fields. There is a relaxed atmosphere in both the bar and restaurant and the food is excellent with plenty of choice.
Super friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Incredibly dog-friendly including a 'dog welcome pack' and special 'exterior rooms' so you didn't disturb other guests when taking your dog in and out.
Delicious food too.
A classic 18 century coaching in with Ultra modern facilities and Michelin level food the staff are really helpful and can’t do too much for us helping us tune our TV to ensure that we had ability to watch the World Cup games. The food is a different level to coaching and could be a Michelin star restaurant the court outstanding and the quantity very generous. I would highly recommend this coaching in the Brown horse for either stay or a meal either way you’ll enjoy yourself. I’ll probably keep on returning.
Room was really comfortable but it is noisy until around 11pm when restaurant closes. Food was excellent. Absolutely worth a visit. Staff really friendly.
Very attentive staff, lovely well presented rooms. Excellent food and drink.

All of the staff were absolutely amazing… friendly & very helpful. The room was nice & clean & spruced up daily. It was lovely & warm on our arrival too. The food in the pub was fabulous.
We stayed in one of pet friendly rooms which was lovely built on to the side of the pub and came with out door seating . We had our evening meal in the bar with our spaniel which was lovely .the staff were lovely and made us really welcome
I had a wonderful time. The staff is very lovely, respectful, and helpful. The food and room are amazing. I love the Victorian style of this place. I wished I were staying longer.
