Loved it. This is our second stay at The Waterfront, Queenstown and it definitely won’t be our last. Great accommodation, great location and an AMAZING view.

The location is probably the best. Steps away to town area where everything is. Street noise is expected, but bearable. Love that there are laundry racks that we could put out in our living area to dry our laundry. Bedrooms are fairly small but living area is big. Toilets seem recently refurbished. Nice and clean! Overall a great stay!

We had a week at The Waterfront. The location was great however traffic and construction noise was an issue. Beautiful views to the lake and Remarkable mountains was something special. Balcony is very small and only big enough for 2 people to stand on. Room itself was above average but it was starting to show its age. Overall not the best place we have stayed but most certainly not the worst.

Enjoyed our stay here. We had a hire car so having parking was important and was free (they have some secure underground as well as outdoor). We had the one bedroom apartment, everything was clean and with a big kitchen with oven and microwave. Lounge room was excellent and a lovely view out the big windows. It was a short walk into the main area of Queenstown which was excellent not to have to drive everywhere.

Great location and comfortable apartment with stunning views. Two bedroom, one double and one king. Two bathrooms, a kitchen and living room space. Two minute walk to the centre of Queenstown.

We stayed at the Waterfront for a total of 3 nights beginning of a busy Summer season in Queenstown. We originally asked for 2 nights but asked for an extra night on very short notice and they were really accommodating, and we checked in early. The 2 bed, 2 bath Lakeview apartment we stayed in was lovely. Exceptionally clean and very well appointed with high quality appliances and cookware. We had an incredible view and we’re within short walking distance of everything in Queenstown we wanted to get to. It was a very busy time of year, with a lot of traffic but we enjoyed watching it all, and once we closed the room up for the night, we certainly did not hear a thing. It was very well insulated against the world. Staff were always friendly and helpful. They were always available during reception hours but never intrusive and willing to give advice or suggestions on things of interest. Overall, a very enjoyable experience at The Waterfront. We will definitely be back.

Nice and big apartment, close walking to all the restaurants and bars. Only downfall being on the first floor is if a van parked outside you lost part of the view other than that if we are in Queenstown again we will definitely be staying at the Waterfront again.

great location and good value for money. walking distance to everything. my only negative would be that it is not serviced so you need to remove your garbage daily yourself but there are no spare bags in the main kitchen bin to reline them, something very simple to do I would have thought.

The waterfront was quite underwhelming. The room was very old and dated. The door to one bedroom couldn’t shut because the bedroom was too small for the length of bed and the wardrobe was almost impossible to use because the there was just 30cm between the bed and wardrobe. Repairs had been made throughout the rooms which had been unfinished with putty etc. the kitchen cupboards were worn and paint had rubbed off . We wouldn’t recommend staying here

Perfect for a stop in Queenstown
One of the stops traveling Southisland of NZ. The Waterfront is perfect located and has all you need plus a great view from the balcony.

Pros - The view is stunning and the location is great. Cons - The apartment has no air conditioning and it gets so hot at night even if you open the windows. The glazing is thin so you hear all the traffic noise, it’s a busy road until early hours Of the morning where the noise calms fo a bit. We were left a note saying this property is not not serviced apartment and we will need to put your own rubbish out and wash up or we will be charged. There were no bath towels left for the two of us and reception closed at 5pm so we had to make do with hand towels. Overall I’m not sure what justifies the price.

Well the reception is open 9-5 pm, you can come to reception around that time if you need anything for your apartment, it was also described while check-in. With the dishes you don't have to wash and clean, just need to put it on the dishwasher and turn it on, rest will be done by housekeeper. My apology for the inconvenience caused.

Excellent. Had studio penthouse (3A) and was a lovely unit, great condition, modern bath and amazing terrace with view of the water. Also appreciated the free parking as well as convenient walk into town. Highly recommend!
