Very nice property. Rooms are a nice size. Only issue is that it is an uphill walk to the hotel from the Queenstown Harbour. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to take you up the steep hill for those who walk.

The hotel is on a steep hill. The hotel staffs are super friendly, and on site restaurant is very nice. We especially enjoyed the egg station and pancake station. My room is facing the back, a little noisy.

Good hotel, in need of improvement
The hotel is beautiful and has a great location near the town center and a great view of the lake. The staff always tried their best to provide the best service. Some issues, however: - The room cleaning could have been done better. We would constantly find trash or misplaced things. - For some reason, the cleaning staff would leave vacuum cleaners on the halls of the hotel, which became risky obstacle courses. - Finally, I don't know if it was a city-wide issue, but tap water was unsafe to drink, and we had to boil it daily. The cleaning staff never refilled the kettle or provided clean water in the room, which was a nuisance.

Room was terrific, best bed and pillows of our trip. Parking was very convenient and is an easy walk into town. Only issue was the bar manager who was serving us - he seemed very stressed and the drinks we were served were very disappointing- all other staff we had contact with were outstanding.

The staff. Especially Kursten made out entire visit. The hotel is absolutely beautifully with views only one can dream of. Absolutely amazing hotel.

Lovely location and hotel. It didn't quite give 5 star vibes (closer to 4). The rooms didnt have power points on the bed side tables without having to unplug items which is always a pet peeve of mine if hotels (particularly 5 star) are not allowing for. We also had an issue with the vouchers given in lieu of room service which explicitly state "for use at any time" but when we tried to redeem for a drink during happy hour, we were told they were not able to be used during happy hour. All in all though, it was a pleasant stay and we may consider staying again.

Lovely property with very friendly staff who were always available to help. The hot tub garden was a nice way to spend some time after a busy day of sightseeing. Our suite was huge and fitted to a high standard. The balcony was a great place to watch the sunset over the mountains

A Room without a View
Customer service throughout was excellent. Breakfast was ok. My room was on the 7th floor overlooking the dark front entrance of the hotel. There was no natural light even during the day.

Stayed at st Moritz 3 times now and it continues to impress,and would recommend the place to anyone looking for quality accommodation… If i was to be picky I’d say you should be able to turn the lights off from the kitchenette and not walk back down to the entrance…and if I was really picky I’d suggest a soft closing toilet seat only because I knocked it a couple of times and it crashed down The decor and furniture,bed just quality,the ability to close the bedroom of was just brilliant dark and peaceful just perfect and good sleep

Amazing views
From the minute the airport transfer dropped us and staff greeted us at the front door to the breakfast that we loved , the amazing views from our balcony the cleaning staff, the speed of the lifts. We absolutely loved our stay. Our only issue was the aircon in the room got very hot through the night and wouldn’t go lower. Obviously controlled by hotel and made sleeping uncomfortable some nights. We would definitely return. Great location and easy walk to restaurants and all your needs in town

The room and the view were great. It was not easy to get down to the main road by foot. Slippery roads on a steep incline should not be part of entering or leaving without a car.

We just had 3 nights at Hotel St Moritz and from the moment we arrived we knew we had made a great choice. Awesome location just a few minutes walk from town but that right distance away to be so quiet and with amazing views of the lake. We had the 1 bedroom Lakeview room which were so spacious and comfortable. Beautiful decor and amenities. Breakfast was a great experience with plenty of choice and more of those spectacular views. Highly recommended.

Loved the view from dining room and beautiful lobby. Hill setting a bit challenging after a big night. Our only disappointment was calling reception to check we could watch the Warriors game in our room to be told I think so but you will have to check. We were at a sports bar when we called. It was playing the game. We risked the walk home. And yes did have the game ... so spent some time in the hot tub before kickoff

Reserved room with view and given room 8 ft. from elevator. At 12 noon they wouldn't change room, only if upgrade paid. Paid upcharge, reserved room and they said they would move our luggage. Returned early evening and no change. Luggage still in old room. Nothing in computer regarding change. We would not consider returning to this hotel.

Lovely room, friendly helpful staff. A good nights sleep. Enjoyed the bar. Moved rooms as our first room only looked out onto a grassy bank. Loved having a view out over the lake. There seemed to be a problem with the door card readers though.

There was no air conditioning and the rooms were very hot. The bath stuff was nice though. I feel like when your staying at a hotel with a restaurant you should have priority in reservations to eat there. They were booked the entire time we were there so had to walk to town for all our meals. Which wouldn’t be so much on an issue but there is a brutal hill to walk up to get to the hotel every time you leave.

St Moritz is a very nice hotel with good views over the lake. Rooms are very spacious with a separate lounge area. The only down side is the walk up the hill to get back to it after going into town.

Queenstown the renovation city
Hotel is within walking distance of Queenstown however walk back is up the hill. Restaurant on site had some lack of staff meaning we had a night that it wasn’t opened and the other night had limited options. Great views of the lake, and everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Queenstown is under renovations people.

Walkable distance and ok room.
Reasonably ok hotel, close-ish to CBD, on site paid parking, and no issues with cleaning. Kitchen wasn't working properly due to staff illness (still), and they seem a bit short staffed probably like most places. Not recommendable for prams as there are too many steps and hills.
