"We only had a short stay at the Ship Leopard hotel being a transit from train to the morning ferry. The hotel is perfectly located immediately across the street from the train station, but offered so much more. Surrounded by great restaurants, historic sites, and shopping, it turned out to be the perfect location for our visit to Portsmouth Harbor. The hotel itself is very comfortable with a friendly staff and good amenities. The room was comfortable and made for a nice stay."

Holiday Inn Express Portsmouth - Gunwharf Quays by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"This was my first time staying at the Holiday Inn express in gunwharf quays. Me and my partner arrived in Portsmouth at 11. Check in wasn’t until 3pm. They were very accommodating with regards to putting our suitcase into storage whilst walking around, which is a secured room which the staff take you to and wait until you have done it. On check in time, the lady on reception was very helpful. It was also my other half’s birthday, so they gave us a complemtary drinks voucher to use at the bar. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was lovely, nothing to complain about at all!. The rooms were very clean, and added bonus the air con was working, after booking I received a message to say that the air con was being fixed and wouldn’t be working when we arrived! This hotel I would definitely recommend, and 100% worth the price!!"
