"The room in the annex was a good size with a comfy bed, drawers, cupboard and tv. The bathroom was a little small with little space to place personal toiletries but the shower worked well. There is just soap near the sink and body/hair gel in the shower. The location is great next to Fareham town centre and close to the M27 and A27. There is a car park which is free to residents. The wifi worked well. The pub bar was handy with a restaurant. Breakfast was a small choice of fruit, yogurt, pastries and bread and hot options were chosen from the a la carte menu which was good. The staff in the pub and restaurant varied, some excellent but others seemed unable to cope, maybe this could be a training issue. "

"The location is great, especially if you are coming in on the train and/or visiting the historic dock area. The hotel is literally across from the train station and 50 yards or so to the entrance of the historic port area, with the HMS Victory, Mary Rose Museum,Naval Museum, etc. Even though an old building, it had an elevator, which was great since we were third floor. The included breakfast was a full breakfast of eggs, beans ham and/or sausage, etc. Also available were yogurts.the staff were pleasant and manned the desk 24/7. The only downsides were 1) the pillows and gray carpet in the bedroom, and 2) the small size of the room. The carpet looked like it needed abit of cleaning. And the pillows were somewhat old. Because of the convenience, we might stay here again, though."

"This hotel was not good, the most uncomfortable bed and don’t even attempt to open the window because the smell from outside was not good. The shower pressure was awful. Overall not a good stay and will not be returning"

"Excellent location. Parking in underground car park good and inexpensive. Staff were very helpful. The Air conditioning was not functioning however was being repaired. As the weather wasn’t too bad this was not an issue during our stay."
