"No ventilation, the apartment has no WINDOWS, accept for 2 roof lights which were too high to reach. The property was booked for 3 people, I rang and confirmed but regardless there was no linen or pillows for the 3rd person."

"Host changed the address of the property an hour before check in (5 hours into our travel to the location). The amended property had black mould poorly covered by grouting, no shower screen so water went everywhere, and general "DIY landlord" decorating, with damage to many of the walls being slap dash filled and painted. There was also a general sewage smell across the property but that may have just been the area / location. "

"Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean and loved the jacuzzi (which was set up and ready to go!) parking outside the house and visitor parking if you have more than 2 cars. The host was friendly, responsive and incredibly helpful. Would really recommend! Thanks for saving our new year!"

"Lovely apartment, very clean and spacious for two. Good facilities (though the cutlery is rather basic) and very comfortable. It took us a while to find a car parking space but having the parking permit passed were a godsend. Great location. "

"Nice place in Portmouth. Everything was as promised and there was dishwasher and also a drying laundry machine. Parking can be a bit challenging but we were able to secure spots easily. All the basics were there and the bed was comfortable. Cooling fan shot some thick dust out so it probably wasn't used for a long time. There was also long standing water in the water boiler so that was kind of disgusting. Luckily we didn't need it. All doors made squeeking sounds when you had windows open...

"Always a pleasure to stay at Ashby’s. Stayed here on numerous occasions including for a birthday!! Steve and Mubi were great at accommodating everything I needed including birthday decorations. The spa was lovely, hot tub extremely spacious set to the perfect temperature. Communal area had a wide array of games to play, great for some competitive fun! A lovely place for a little getaway! Overall an amazing experience as per usual! Cannot wait to book to stay again :) "
