"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"The shower was amazing, we wanted to take it home with us same with the view. Was also close to the venue. However the bed was a little too plush (unsupportive) and had bump imprints in the mattress (from high use?) But this was our only issue"

"The location is great. Just a short walk and you are the shoreline of Lake Taupo. Most rooms have a view of the lake from the balcony. Room is large. Ours had a jacuzzi tub. The property also has a thermal heated pool year round. Great to soak in after a days drive."
