"I booked a Club room so I could have a drink in the lounge and it also included breakfast. The guy who runs the club room is a darling. Hor d'oevres were a little sparse (for a non meat eater) but OK. Cheese is good. Wine delish - a pinot gris I had not previously heard of. There is a full bar. Unless you are a huge drinker, paying the extra for the club room not very good value. The rooms are not huge and amenities standard Millennium, not special. My shower cap box was empty which was annoying as I needed dry hair. Continental brekkie nice. Good croissants and I sprinkled mine with almonds and honey. Delish. Proper coffee. I liked it but v expensive..."

"Staff were friendly. Bar choice was good. Breakfast was stale and fruit was still frozen. Bathroom tap kept falling off but nobody came to fix it. Carpets needed a good clean. The hotel really needs an overhaul and some TLC. Very disappointing. "

"Good stay overall, mini golf, ping pong and tennis. Room was tidy, just one issue with microwave starting, was bit old. Pool was heated, not hot, expected a bit higher for rotorua, recomend a few more degrees to make comfortable on the cold days but fine for exercise."

"Travelled with family and stayed in two Lakeside chalets for 4 nights. Had a most enjoyable time together. Good amenities and well appointed units with Lots of activities for the children. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for families and group holidays!"
