"Was impressed with this hotel, usually Id stay in Premier Inns. The welcome at check in was very warm.and engaging - we were checked in 30 minutes early which does make a difference. "Super friendly staff. Nice big room with comfy bed. Only thing missing was there was no plug sockets by the bed so had to charge my phone on the table by the mirror - meant I had to actually get out of bed to turn off my alarm and couldn’t scroll through my phone in bed while it was low on battery. Otherwise couldn’t fault it "

"Decoration throughput somewhat tired. The restaurant only opened for breakfast, so would have to eat in the bar or your room. Shower over bath with step up had lethally slippery bath floor, had to ask for non slip mat, which was supplied on the second day. One window latch broken and air conditioning noisy. Best part was the location of the hotel with an easy walk into Durham town."

"We stayed overnight after a concert at the arena.Althogh we normally stay closer to central station, this hotel was a reasonable distance to walk. We stayed in a room with private ensuite & it was very clean roomy and airy. Although there was no Aircon and had to sleep with the window open, we had a good night's sleep. Close to bars and city centre this hotel is quiet. If you're looking for a cheap clean convenient hotel, for a short stay this hotel is a good choice. Bed was huge & comfy...
