What a fantastic place to stay! Peaceful, historic, and exceptionally well managed and staffed. There are stairs, but this minor bother is offset by the overall quality of this fine establishment.
A lovely place to stay for our ruby wedding anniversary. What a romantic unique venue. We stayed for 3 nights in the castle. Our daughter and partner came too. We had a wonderful time
A fabulous experience for my husband and I treating our 11 year old great nephew to an exciting stay in a real Castle.
Staff were wonderful from Reception check in, greeters and Restaurant staff to Reception check out. We experienced the added excitement of a Langley Castle tour learning more about history along with rooftop visit to Chapel and wonderful views.
Excellent.
Brilliant place to stay with a massive WOW factor - the castle rooms are amazing and we really enjoyed the tour after breakfast, would highly recommend!
From the moment we arrived everyone at the castle was very friendly and welcoming. The castle is gorgeous! We stayed in the De Lucy room. It was lovely - exactly as pictured on the website. The castle guardian bears are adorable! What a delightful idea! The atmosphere at the castle is exceptional; we were only sorry that our stay couldn’t have been longer. I would recommend this property to anyone.
Lovely spacious room, great facilities, clean & quiet, great surroundings, super comfy bed, very friendly & attentive staff, brilliant breakfast
Love the little room 'guardian' !
Having recently stayed at Langley Castle, I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time. My wife and I travel extensively, and it is rare that you find somewhere where you immediately 'feel at home'.
This is largely due to the genuine and warm hospitality shown by all of the staff throughout our stay.
On top of this the breakfast and service in the restaurant was outstanding and certainly befitting of such a special hotel. The tour of the castle is not to be missed either.
Our room, which was in the main castle itself was very impressive with a magnificent 4 poster bed and had a real feel of grandeur. Despite having exposed stone walls the room was extremely clean and free from dust which must be a real challenge in such an old building.
Overall, a wonderful stay and we will be back. Highly recommended.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful stay.
All of the staff was a pleasure to talk with.
We stayed in the tower suit on the fifth and top floor.
Be aware there is no elevator but they do have a small lift for your suitcase and staff can bring up for you.
The lounge and bar area was beautiful to sit in.
We also had dinner at the castle and it was fantastic.
the chef prepared us some extra dishes that were delicious we felt like we were treated like royalty.
At 1015 every day they do a tour of the castle and talk about the history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept it fun and light hearted.
The grounds also has peacocks we had a fun time walking around looking for them.
Over all it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.
A unique experience with nice friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. We had a fabulous evening dinner, preceded by drinks in the impressive drawing room in the heart of the castle.
A very relaxing place to spend a couple of nights. With lovely grounds and a good variety of birdlife. (Plus the resident Peacocks!)
Beautiful castle and location. Our room was lovely and we had a good experience dining in the atmospheric castle dining room. The decor of the bar and lounge were also very atmospheric, just as you would expect from a castle and enhanced the experience. The grounds were good to explore. We joined the "history tour" of the castle and this was a very enjoyable and informative 40 minutes, including going up to the tower.
A hidden gem for any medieval castle hotel fan. We’ve stayed at many castle hotels and Langley Castle stuck out for its authenticity and unique details, especially the 14th century window niches. Make sure to reserve a suite with a window niche like Greenwich Room. Dinner is a nice occasion with drinks starting in the drawing room before descending to the dining room for the meal. Free castle history tour in the morning.
The room was immaculate and the staff couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming. The castle is fun to explore and our room in the lodge had a lovely view of the castle, and the night sky above the grounds was stunning!
A stunning property set in beautiful grounds, this hotel is easily one of the finest we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and the food and wines delightful. We will return!
Was able to charge our car on the premises. The room was delightful as was the service both at reception and in the dining room

The castie hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful bedroom , very convenient for popping out with the dog . Staff were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the guest WiFi was not working and we were not told . We were unable to contact family, complete important legal tasks , or watch the tv. The ‘ superior’ menu food was very disappointing
Amazing stay in a real castle! Staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable. We had a lovely meal at night, and the breakfast was included and delicious. After breakfast there was a tour of the castle. We learned so much about the castle and the area. Highly recommended.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Breakfast felt rushed (all items brought to the table at the same time). Staff were pleasant. Furniture and decor in the room looking a little tired. Beautiful surrounding area. Castle and grounds are lovely, quiet and relaxing.
