The staff were helpful and welcoming and the extra effort for the Great North Run was appreciated. The hotel is in a great location. The sheets were a bit scratchy and the pillows rock hard so this wasn’t great for a good nights sleep.

Ideally located and within a short walk of city centre. Parking just across the road which comes with a hotel discount. Room decent size and very clean, with a fantastic breakfast that was very tasty. All in all good value for money

I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions recently and have been very impressed each time. The rooms are of an excellent standard. The breakfast buffet is extremely good and the bar staff are very friendly. Receptionist Ella was particularly helpful .
