"We stayed overnight after a concert at the arena.Althogh we normally stay closer to central station, this hotel was a reasonable distance to walk. We stayed in a room with private ensuite & it was very clean roomy and airy. Although there was no Aircon and had to sleep with the window open, we had a good night's sleep. Close to bars and city centre this hotel is quiet. If you're looking for a cheap clean convenient hotel, for a short stay this hotel is a good choice. Bed was huge & comfy and staff very friendly. We would recommend the pizzas, handmade on the premises, delicious and fresh too. Well done to all the staff, you are amazing."

"Everyone at the front desk was so nice and helpful every day I was there....Room was actually a good size, VERY clean and even had a nice view of the Tyne! Bar was also very energetic and full of activity. Close to everything. Highly recommend."

"We stayed for two nights in a junior suite, the hotel was clean and tidy, staff were all friendly and welcoming. The bar and cocktails were lovely. Unfortunately the dinner menu was not great so we ate out both nights and luckily there are many options for food and drink close by. We did have a problem with breakfast on the second day (food was burnt) we returned the plate and then got the wrong replacement food and still burnt, after raising with the restaurant manager it was refunded so no significant impact on the rest of our stay."

"My stay was perfect as normal , the only negative was the noise during the night from something outside my window , it kept waking me up but I could put up with this for one night , the staff where lovely as per every visit , they listened to the problem I had , which I am sure they would of had this mentioned before , overall another great stay ."
