5 of us stayed in 2 rooms. We were down for the Springsteen gig, so hotel prices were quite steep. The price of the 2 rooms were excellent so I wasnt holding out much hope but I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. The staff were great, especially Sharon at reception. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Spacious room with en suite toilet/shower room. Very comfortable bed. Take away breakfast included and kettle and tea/coffee/milk supplied in room. Hotel about 15 minutes walk from city centre uphill and no dining options nearby. Room temperature a bit too warm and noise could be heard from other guests moving in room above and along corridors. However, very comfortable stay.

Really welcoming and friendly staff. Does what it says on the tin: 'good, clean, friendly hotel with large modern rooms, good clean bathroom/shower, large comfy double bed, good grab and go breakfast, easy free parking, all at good value.' First time I've stayed there whilst visting Newcastle but won't be the last! Great community pub just across the road too, rather than the 10 minute walk into town, and it does pub grub, eat in or take away.

Would have preferred they had included in the expedia listing what the breakfast offered was. It is a grab n go bag with croissant, fruit and yoghurt. Overall though it was comfortable and quiet.

Good hotel and 30 min walk from Newcastle center. Perfect for us as we had a competition at the arena and it was a 5 min walk. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty in grab bag breakfast

I liked the “Breakfast to go”, very good idea, it lets you get out and about early and you can take it with you. Bedroom very spacious and very clean. Only a few things that were negative; the 2 bedroom lamps above bed weren’t working, bathroom door wouldn’t remain shut, light above mirror in bathroom wasn’t working and toilet roll holder was falling off the wall.

Very moisy with other residents slamming doors and screaming. There were insects in the bathroom and the bed sheets were stained. I am six months pregnant and this was not a pleasant experience for me.

Thank you for the feedback Sophie room 123 is on a corridor with only 5 other rooms 1 being the 4 person room so i can only presume there has been a group in there with the noise, We will pass onto housekeeping about the sheets and ask maintenance to look into the insects in bathroom.

Hair on bed, marks on bedding, hole cute out of the middle of the curtain overlooking a park?. Toilet roll holder not fixed on wall properly so toilet roll ended up on floor and 1 room only had half a toilet roll.

We appreciate your feedback Keelan we have had a look into the cut out hole thats looking on to a play park neither room 200 or 130 have any hole in? We have become more envoiromental friendly so we do not bin half used toilet rolls anymore.

Very good hotel
It was a good stay. Room is good size and mattress is comfortable enough. Shower is very good too. I suggest they should have mixer taps in washbasin. TV remote wasn't working

The hotel is a basic no frills bed for the night there is WiFi ish tv didn't work Bed was ok I was knackered Shower basic but ok For 41 it's fine Grab and go breakfast was fine also

Poor mattress - bad back
Hotel overall fine. Poor quality sleep. Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I think I have ever slept on. Thin old mattress. Pillows and bedding were fine just the mattress needs updating

A nice comfortable Hotel
We were visiting Newcastle for a football match so it was only for an overnight stay. We found this Hotel to be very good for our needs. The cost was very competitive and included a continental breakfast (in a take-away bag). They had a large secure car park and as we were too early for the check-in, the hotel had no objections to leaving our car there through the day. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The beds were fine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would like to stay here again on our next visit.

Great Value for Money .
Firstly it has onsite parking with no height restriction (which was our problem to book anywhere else as we have a high top). The room was spacious and had everything needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is no frills and breakfast is pack-up form you pick up at reception and is adequate. Walking distance to town. For the amount we paid we were more than happy.

Perfect for couple of days.

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE
DO NOT STAY HERE! Could hear someone in room next door constantly speaking on phone, and was awoken at 7am by it the following day, so the walls are very thin, could hear every word. Even at a quiet time this was very irritating. Can hear doors slamming constantly as that's the only way they can be shut (they don't just close quietly). Was stopped at reception by someone demanding my room number. Did not know or had never met this person... not normal... usually in a hotel you can just go to your room without a Spanish inquisition from a random stranger. No need for it at all and was acting very weird and saying strange things too, leading me to question who this person was, and why I wasn't allowed to just go to my room as normal in a hotel. He was quite happy to get other guests to team up against me being aggressive too, very unprofessional. Ended up having to get a taxi away in middle of night and my whole day today is ruined. I would not book here at all, even some of the cheapest places I have stayed have been a lot better than this and I haven't been locked out at 4am.
