I’ve been coming to HR about 4 times already, property is well kept, aesthetically pleasing, prime location, and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.
It is honestly a great hotel to stay in your New Orleans trips
The hotel itself is amazing! It’s such a cute property and the rooms had everything we needed. The only negative is the onsite parking (for a fee). The lot is TINY and can be difficult at times to get in and out of parking spaces.
We were really charmed by the building’s age, and the rooms were spotless. The bed was super comfy, the balcony was amazing, and the staff were so friendly.
staff was amazing and friendly. hotel royal gave the perfect vibes for our first time to nola. it was also fun seeing where the originals was filmed right in the courtyard
Amazing and helpful staff. Clean and cozy room. Perfect area.

The location was the best, perfect. The hotel is two converted old houses with separate rooms and stairways in all different directions; no elevator, but it gives you that New Orleans feeling. Some rooms have balconies, others have galleries, and others are interior rooms without windows. Make sure to get the room that fits you best ahead of time. The manager and the staff are super nice and accommodating.
We had a wonderful stay!!! The staff,Macy and Perry were so great!!! They were so sweet and helpful!!!! I wish staff everywhere were as kind and helpful as these two were!! I can’t say enough about how they made our stay great!!! Thank you so much for providing such wonderful staff in a great place for our days away!!!! Will definitely recommend this place!!!

Water in the shower didn’t draining, tv didn’t work, member of our party didn’t have hot water. Great location though.
Loved the old building and the history of it. Parking was $50/night, but worth it for us as we only stayed one night and I didn't have to stress about the parking in the area.
Room was clean and on the smaller side, which is to be expected in an old building. Overall, would recommend staying here. Easy access to the all the things in the Grench Quarter
The staff at The Royal can't be beat. I love the old feel of the hotel it made having to walk up the flights of stairs to your room worth it. The courtyard is absolutely stunning!
Such a unique and charm-filled hotel. Despite its age and character, the AC was incredible and the cleanliness was phenomenal. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Hoping to stay here again!
The property was very old but well maintained, We had different front desk people during our stay, two of three were great the third barely acknowledge us when we checked out.
The room was clean, balcony view was nice, but bathroom was small. There was lights bulbs that were out and light switches that didn't. over all it was a nice stay if you like being down in the French quarter.

This is definitely more of a vibes stay than a luxury stay. The hotel staff was amazing. The room floor was so unlevel our suitcase kept rolling into the walls. Our shower didn’t drain at all so showering was like a speed event to get done before it overflowed. The bed frame was definitely broken and we were kind of scared to move around too much for fear of it going to the floor in our sleep. There was so much dust/debris accumulated along the wall edges that we had to make sure we wore shoes anytime our feet were on the floor. The location was a plus, extremely close to everything but it almost wasn’t worth it for not being able to even enjoy being in our room.
We love staying here every time we are in town. It is so convenient to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and all the other fun, but has a quiet, chill vibe.
Very nice hotel. Great staff. Love the building history and the location in the French Quarter. I would’ve giving 5 stars across the board, but my only complaint would be the mosquitos in the halls and rooms. Understanding that it rained and is humid the hotel needs to do something about managing that issue better.
Perry is truly an asset to this property. He gives the best recommendations and my daughter and I enjoyed some great gumbo and Po Boys during our visit. It’s lovely to feel so welcome in New Orleans and I check to see if Hotel Royal has any openings every time I go there! Great parking, great room. Happy with everything!
Hotel is nice and clean, It's on the smaller side, but it's really cozy and has a cool vibe. The staff are seriously amazing and super helpful! The rooms might be small, but they have everything you need.
The staff was top notch!!! Rooms were interesting due to the historic building, but the staff accommodated our group with request to change a room. Wonderful location!
