Bed and Breakfast in Malton

"Location and service was excellent. Valet Parking was great, £25 for 24 hrs is cheaper than the nearest pay and display. We arrived really early and they had a room ready and offered early check in which was very handy for us. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and it was lovely. The downside is a very hard bed and no air con. "

"Nothing to complain about. Had to queue to check in but that was to be expected as there was a wedding on and tribute band so hotel was busy. Couldnt fault the reception staff. Very friendly and helpful. Thought we wpuld be entitled to 50 percent discojnt on ncp parkjng but they didnt know about it"

"Great location, very close to city centre. Easy to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. Breakfast was great, with a good selection of hot and cold options. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean."

"I often stay at this hotel, and the rooms are perhaps a little dated but always lovely. This time, I had an absolutely bargain priced single room on a Sunday night. The room was very small, but also very cute and cosy, and had everything I needed (that would have been included in a bigger/more expensive room) including a lovely bath. But, best of all, I had the most perfect sea view. I had the window slightly open all night and could hear the sound of the waves lapping...it was like being in another country. It was the most peaceful, and perfect, stay, and I hope I can get the same room again next time!"

"Hotel is a great location, lovely walk into the city centre or catch the bus. Staff are so friendly and extremely helpful. Bedrooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast os tasty and plentiful. The only thin that lets the hotel down is the outside, aesthetically its not the nicest looking hotel once inside its absolutely fine. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again."

"Very welcoming at reception, lovely restaurant & bar area. I stayed with my daughter and granddaughter in a room with a queen bed & a sofa bed, both were very comfortable- large tv screen & mini fridge. We had a very enjoyable weekend."

"The hotel appeared very nice on first impressions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and tidy with a lovely river view. The only negative was the pillows were very flat so next time would ask for extras or bring my own. Very nice hotel would highly recommend. Excellent location in the centre of York."
