This is a geothermal area in Rotorua. The local guide took us to the Maori village where we watched the traditional dance including haka. This place is so beautiful it's worth it driving 3 hours from Auckland

Though Glenholme may not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Rotorua Central Mall and Rotorua Night Market.

This place was interesting. If you've never seen geothermal activity before it's super interesting. Huge area that takes about an hour to walk. I still liked wai-o-tupo "better", if I had to pick one... But they both are very different and it was pretty cool to see all the bubbling mud. And if your already there to soak in the mud and use the spa, checking out the grounds in a no brainer
