"The hotel is ideally situated for any events at the SEC, and with a multi storey car park next door (which has a special rate for hotel guests) it's an easy choice. From my initial check in to leaving the staff were all courteous, helpful and friendly. Yes the bar area has simple but as a music fan, I loved the decor, a drum kit suspended from the ceiling, chandelier effect using drum sticks and stools made using old amplifiers. Food was excellent, the pizza I had was very tasty and the breakfast, fresh and plentiful. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. To top it all, it's very dog friendly! Dibnah loved it and got spoilt."

"Good location opposite the Botanic Gardens. A short ride on the Subway takes you into Glasgow City Centre. Right beside Byers Road with a good selection of places to eat. Breakfast in the hotel was good quality and value if booked in advance."

"You might want to think about parking. Mon-Sat 08.00-18.00 is £7.60 per 90 minutes on the street immediately outside the hotel. Alternatively you can park free on nearby streets near hotel but it is not so convenient.For example as it means crossing Gt Western Road. "
