For anyone visiting the OVO Arena I’d recommend this hotel as it’s only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was great too.

The whole atmosphere was friendly and the staff were most helpful. It didn't have the formality that you find in so many hotels, so it felt more like a good B&B. We would go there again.

Although I know the West End well I hadn’t used the Sandyford before. It was a great location, perfect for eating and drinking around that part of the city. I had a gig on one of the evenings and was able to walk there and back quite quickly. Will definitely use the Sandyford in the future.

Double booking
arrived to find our room had been given to someone else. The receptionist was apologetic and gave us a room 4 floors up (no lift) so we had to take out what we needed from our bags and leave them at reception as they were too heavy to lug up the stairs. We were given free breakfast as compensation but were disappointed not to get the room we were expecting. On the plus side breakfast was actually very good!
