Friendliness from the staff throughout our stay from arrival to breakfast to checking-out. Room was huge for 3 persons, bathroom and sleeping area were spotless, beddings were comfy and fresh. Room was keeping us throughout our stay too! Highly recommended!
Quickly and very helpfully resolved a check in issue. Very hospitable. Fab location . Had a lovely stay and hope to be back next time I'm in Glasgow

Excelente location with friendly staff. The lack of an elevator was an issue. If you can't climb stairs, request a ground floor room.
There's a nice river trail steps from the hotel.
The Botanic Garden and many good restaurants are a short walk away.

Nice location. Helpful staff. Parking was a little tight getting in and out but free. Clean. Close to botanical garden and west end restaurants.
A charming place that has exactly what I needed and no more or less. The people are wonderfully friendly. The location cannot be beat with the entrance to the river path just across the street.
Loved the traditional look outside, felt really friendly. Staff very friendly. My room was comfortable brilliant shower and bed comfortable

A listed property overlooking The Botanics in the west end of Glasgow. Spotless and very comfortable and quiet .Great for the price. Breakfast excellent. Staff pleasant. Excellent location near subway , main bus routes into central Glasgow and 25 minutes to airport.
The hotel had limited off site parking, so ended up having to pay for street parking which was quite expensive. However, the location was ideal for the West End of Glasgow.
Overall. Very happy with the stay. Staff were very nice and hospitable. Free parking tho a little limited but one can’t complain. Shame the council are not helpful with the parking up front.

they don’t have any lifts and lots of stairs so don’t advise staying if you’ve got luggage! The room wasn’t the most comfortable and it was a bit overpriced for what it was. Always wanted to stay there so I’m glad I tried it and it was comfortable enough but there’s a lot better offering in Glasgow
10/10 for man on reception stayed in room 15 which had no view other than roof plus room has support beam right next to bed but room was satisfactorily clean with exception of few high areas with dust but overall clean and tidy and nice hotel. Breakfast was ok nothing great but to sum up service and hotel lovely and definitely would stay again maybe not in that room.
Lovely little hotel, very clean, excellent service in a beautiful location. Only small criticisms is a very wobbly wardrobe in the room which didnt feel very safe, no toiletries in bathroom (soap dispensers empty), and a poor choice of drinks in room. Not enough to put me off staying again, I would certainly be back, but I'd be aware to bring coffee, soap and shower gel next time!
The Ambassador Hotel is a gem and the front desk gentleman was helpful and kind. We had to leave early in the morning a few minutes after the dining room opened for breakfast. He took our order the night before and had it ready for us before the Taxi arrived. The location is beautiful and close to many restaurants and the botanical gardens and a pretty walk along the river. It was far from the city center though.

Worst bed I have slept in a long time. Rock hard bed that seemed to be on a slope. Cheap pillows and duvet. Modern fitted bathroom but sink so small the floor was soaked when trying to wash. Pleasant staff especially lady in the breakfast room. All areas nice and clean.

The property was fine and handy for where we were going on our night out the room was clean and tidy the problem arose in the morning as we were going down for breakfast we never made it to the bottom of the stairs before being told it was twenty past nine and hot breakfast finished at 9.15 on a New Year’s Day he said with a smile. No just go in and get the breakfast you have paid extra for or we will refund your money as you didn’t get your breakfast. We thought it finished at 9.30 and thought we were in plenty of time.We have stayed in this hotel before that is why we returned but would not go back after this bad experience.
Very happy with our stay, rooms was spacious and comfortable, excellent location, easy to reach city center by public transport and walking, also very easy getting in and out of town by car.
Definitely will recommend and use it again
