"water park was closed, first night we couldnt sleep since they were working all night on the pool waterpark and workers were talking and moving staff, and 3rd night fire alarm went off twice and we were not advise why or how even tho we call reception and no one answer the phone, The apartment and hotel in general really nice and convenient but not a pleassant vacation for sure."

"We had a late flight into MCO and did not arrive at the hotel until around 10:45 pm. We got a great deal on the hotel, so I did not expect it to be anything immaculate. We really only needed it for a place to sleep anyway, since we were going to disney. When we arrived the staff was great. Got to the room saw the bathroom wasn't really impressed with the shower. But thought hey it'll be fine. When I pulled back the sheets on one of the beds, you could tell that it had not been cleaned. We saw multiple pieces of hair within the sheets. But the worst thing was that we did see bed bugs and I also saw at least 4 blood stains on the sheets. It made me feel so uncomfortable that we checked out within an hour of being there and then had to find new lodging at midnight. "

"Having a choice of being with timeshare members in more exclusive pools, party pools or those in general population, we spent 10 days and only visited the pools twice. "

"Construction occurring, one of the elevators out, hallway and room had an unusual odor, reserved a queen bed and given a full bed. Definitely a case where the photos and reviews definitely DID NOT reflect the reality of the hotel. Will never return. "

"I booked a deluxe studio villa and upon arrival, maybe because it was Mother’s Day weekend and we got there around 1AM but the man checking us in upgraded my son and I into a 1 bedroom villa! He gave me all the info about things to do and amenities, gave me a map for all the pools and told me just about anything else I needed to know about the resort. Anyways the 1 bedroom villa (in building 5800) must’ve been renovated recently because it didn’t look anything like the pictures I’ve seen when I originally booked. It had a full kitchenette, I never really had to leave the resort to eat out since I was able to cook in our place. I just wish the waterpark was opened a little longer and they didn’t have height restrictions for the water slides, my son is fairly tall and was only allowed to use the 3 “big kid” ones and wanted to use the others on the 2nd floor waterpark since he was scared but he was told he couldn’t. Definitely planning to come back again, the last time I stayed at Westgate was back in 2007 or 2008 when I was a kid. You can’t beat the price and staff were extremely friendly. If you’re not a miserable entitled Kevin/Karen and you’re pleasant to staff, you’ll love your stay here and they’ll treat you with the same kind of respect!"
