Good size room & helpful staff at check in

We loved this little pub that was older than our country! The room was wonderful and spacious. We had dinner there which was yummy, especially the creme brûlée - it was better than the one I had in Harrods! The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. It is opposite the church where Midsomer Murders is filmed.

This is a very unique quaint Hotel. Rooms are comfortable and modern in an old style original hotel. Food in restaurant fantastic. Walks are good from the Hotel to the river Thames and around town to the Abbey. Loved our stay here.

A lovely place to stay . Unfortunately no air conditioning in this heat . Had a fan in the room which helped a bit staff were helpful and we had a lovely meal at the Boat House . Great location.

Excellent property, great location and value for money, parking at rear takes a little figuring out but is great too.

An old-fashioned country pub next to Culham station. Some low level train and road noise but still peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely hotel and room. No lifts for level one and no help from staff to carry suitcases. Not a lot of bench space in bathroom to put bathroom items. Bed was nice and comfortable. It is far from Oxford city, handy if you have a car, but not great if needing a taxi. Nice and quiet

Comfortable room, great shower, excellent info from Shivam about rules regarding driving into Oxford and options for dinner. He also helped us out with a large ice bucket as the room didn’t have a fridge. Breakfast was great and the parking was free! Very happy with our stay.

This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!

A lovely old style English pub. On the day it was difficult to drive to because the motorway exit nearby was unexpectedly closed, but that was not the fault of the pub! A showe curtain around the shower would be an improvement.

We loved the old country pub and hospitality. After a quick walk around the village we settled in for a few ales a fantastic dinner ad a good night sleep. Our breakfast was included which was fantastic as it was a full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Loved our time there and would highly recommend for anyone

Booked this hotel because accommodation in the area was limited so I had no idea what this place would be like but I was really pleased and pleasantly surprised. My room was extremely comfortable, amenities were generous and the service, friendly. Had absolutely no complaints. The restaurant was very good too. Was travelling with a friend who was equally pleased with her room and the amenities. Would recommend without hesitation.
