"The room was very clean and spacious. Bed comfortable. Food left for us was much appreciated and everything we needed really. Staff member on at the weekend was very personable and most helpful when we enquired about public transport, etc. Hotel was in a very convenient place for us as we had to go to a concert at Blenheim. We had a very nice stay overall, would definitely return."

"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!"
