The room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely big shower. The hotel was very nice and again very clean. Great bar. As you walk in to the reception it is very grand like walking into a beautiful Manor House. Breakfast was very nice with plenty to choose from. The problem I had was it said in the booking email they check in was 2pm. It isn’t it’s 3pm . So be careful.

A lovely place to stay with beautiful grounds and atmosphere within the hotel. The restaurant was particularly good, a really lovely menu with some more adventurous options as well as conventional choices, and beautifully prepared (and served). The Italian garden is wonderfully calm and charming.

Lovely weekend at Milton Hill the place is lovely and clean although a little worn. The staff were extremely helpful and the food first rate. The spa area was ok but really needed more chairs or lingers as there was nowhere to put your towels while in the pool or jacuzzi etc. it would have been nice to have something to sit on while not using the facilities as there was only 3 tables and six chairs. Apart from that it was great.

The hotel is lovely, however, could do with some TLC. All the staff were fab, especially Amelie and Connor in the restaurant. Evening meal was gorgeous, fresh, tasty and well presented. Breakfast was awful as all the 'hot' items were cold and the sausages did not seem to have been cooked, still translucent through the skin. The deluxe double was good, although could really benefit from a little TLC.

Everything from check in to check out was excellent. Room was clean, if a bit small but suited what we needed for 2 nights. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Place is a maze but lots of quaint areas to sit and relax with loads of local books around. We didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked lovely.
