Amazing hotel with great staff and beautiful suite. Breakfast was incredible but dinner options were limited. Could not get into their Japanese restaurant even though booking day in advance. When booking their Italian restaurant, they said they only had one table left by entrance door. I pushed for a window seat and said we would be out in an hour. Anyway, the restaurant was never more than half full and we never had to move. Made me wonder if we should have headed over to the Japanese...

Excellent stay! I booked an executive room. to stay over, And it is a very pleasant stay. Room size is good. Very clean.

Everything about this place was great. Island itself, transportation, food, room, etc but the best was the friendliness of the staff and their genuine smiles. I will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone.

This propertu was true ski in ski out. The decor was stunning and modern. The room was beautiful with everything you could want. Including kitchen, washer/dryer 2 toilets and comfy bed and furniture in the 1 bedroom unit. One of the best things were the staff. They were all so friendly, accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The restaurant and bar run by Zen was so much more than expected. Delicious food and produce. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menu has endless...

Unfortunately for us we only booked one night in this beautiful hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is beautifully designed and absolutely pristine. We had a Fuji view room and the view of Fuji was outstanding (much better than from Hakone area). The spas were amazing. The Japanese breakfast was a real treat. If you are going to the Gotemba Premium Outlets there is a free shuttle bus that leaves from the bus station very near to the hotel. Our only difficulty was that we arrived...

Spacious, comfortable, elegant, great views, many sights within walking distance, near river as well as many shops and eateries, delicious food in-house, staff always helpful, subway access from basement

Great hotel. Hotel restaurants were extremely expensive.

Staff are very helpful. On our last day, we will miss the breakfast due to early flight. The reception staff made sure that we will be provided with packed breakfast. It was a delicious “bento”, sandwiches, pastries and orange juice. Thank you Intercontinental staff. We will definitely be back.

The staff was so nice and also helped us to keep my pre-posted parcel before we arrived. Just their parking is not 24 hours, so we end up parked somewhere else.

What a lovely older style (in Australian standards) resort in Takayama. The onsen is amazing and so are the restaurants. Great place to stay where you never need to leave!
