"Hotel is OG New York...big spacious room for a regular room with real wood doors and crown moulding....only downside to my room was the view which was just a fire escape and ac units...for me the only real disappointment was that it did not have an in-room coffee pot and they don't make any in the lobby until 7am...for an early riser like me I need that first cup when I wake up....all in all though those are really just minor inconveniences...great hotel!"

"We had a great stay, the location was very convenient. The hotel had good amenities although when I asked for extra pillows they said they didn’t have any. Whenever I book at Hyatt I usually expect an updated, clean room but this hotel is older and in need of renovations. I was overall satisfied with our stay. "

"It was a great stay at the Chelsea Inn. Room was clean, AC worked amazing for the hot weekend, bathroom was very clean. It was in the perfect location as we did all of the tourist attractions that we want and it was central to everything. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family! "

"Front desk was friendly and helpful. TV wasn’t working and they sent someone up right away to fix it. The front door locks after 11 so you need your key card to enter the property which I found to be a nice extra safety precaution. It’s in the garment district so it’s not a pretty area, but it’s walkable to Penn Station and plenty of restaurants. Would stay here again "

"New York is expensive any way you cut it. This is a nice clean Hotel, with quiet Lobby space to work and have a cup of tea or coffee. Rooms tend to be shoe boxes. Extremely small. Hardly enough room to unpack for a weekend, so I was glad it wasn't a business trip. Staff are welcoming and kind."
