"Charming inn right at the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water. It was a short walk to the shops and pubs/restaurants of the town. Chose it because it had a room that would accommodate three ladies on our little tour of the Cotswolds. Our room had two separate bedrooms, one with a large bed and then another with two twin beds. Bathroom was updated and roomy with a full tub and shower. Would be perfect for a family also. The inn was built in 1698 and has historical charm, but was nicely renovated....

"Barton Cottage is a lovely property in the beautiful Bourton on the Water. There is a lot to do just walking around the village (kid friendly)and nearby villages. There are great dining options nearby. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. We did have trouble finding the property and couldn’t get ahold of the management service. "This property is a little gem just far enough away from the busy town centre, but easy walking distance. The availability of a car parking spot was such a bonus. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything we required was there. One thing that caused us a little anxiety in the bathroom, was the bath with only a hand held shower, which we needed to navigate very cautiously. Shame the space taken up by a bath is not a shower cubicle, a little dangerous, in our opinion."

"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "
