"This place was a dream. We couldn’t get over how charming and beautiful both the cottage and the town were. The place is actually much more spacious than the pictures convey. I thought it would be a tiny little cottage, but it actually feels quite roomy and quite comfortable. Two bedrooms upstairs are a good size and there’s also two full bathrooms upstairs as well. The property was wonderful, the sliding door in the kitchen onto the patio and back garden is awesome. "Rooms are clean. Clean linen and towels Only shower gel and shampoo are provided but no body lotion or anything else. The rooms do not have A/C but requested a fan and it was provided. Its a shame that one cannot use the pool without paying extra."

"The location is fantastic being on the High Street in a central location and nicely set back from the hoards of tourists. The staff are lovely and engaging. Lunch and evening meals were beautifully cooked but breakfast at £21.50 per head was not great, being over cooked and one of the most expensive I’ve had, probably ever. On the subject of price, whilst the evening meal was lovely, £40+ each for a Goan Fish Curry and a Ribeye Steak was excessive being on or above the price of a good London restaurant."

"We chose this hotel because we were travelling for a wedding. Although the hotel itself was great, a couple of things let it down. Before our stay, I called several times to ask about an early check-in and was told we would need to check on the day. When we arrived early, despite the hotel knowing our arrival time, we were told that no rooms were available for early check-in. While this wasn't the end of the world, when we asked if there was somewhere we could get changed before the wedding, we were directed to the disabled toilet. That wasn't an ideal experience when trying to get ready for such an important event. Once we eventually checked in, the air conditioning in our room wasn't very effective, so the room became extremely hot. We were also told that our stored luggage would be taken up to our room, but this never happened. Despite these issues, we had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were generally friendly. We would stay here again, but hope these areas can be improved."
