"I absolutely loved my stay at Strozzi Palace and will definitely stay again. Minor things which could’ve addressed were that the balcony area and chair cushions need some attention but it didn’t affect our stay. The room was lovely and the staff were great. I’d highly recommend. "

"Parking is about 8am to 8pm Quite complicate and expensive Mattress are not really good in my opinion Under the bed and the sofa was dirty Overall it's ok very good location. "

"Stayed as a large family for a long weekend. The grandchildren loved the garden. The main house was great, the weather was perfect so we mainly used the kitchen and outside garden dining table. All four bedrooms in the main house are bright and well furnished. The bedrooms in the annexe are more basic but fine for just sleeping in. The host was always available and responded to the couple of queries we had immediately."

"It was such a wonderful experience and a memorable stay in lower slaughter. very easy drive to other villages. It had everything you need to prepare your meals although we didn’t use it. The mansion near by is worth seeing. Everybody was kind and friendly. The owner was prompt to answer questions on location when we mistakenly arrived to the wrong spot, my bad, had clear instruction how to access the cottage whitch i gave to my daughter that opened it. made her feel like Sherlock Holmes:)) ...

"This is the perfect location to explore Burton-on-the-Water as you are right in the center of town. Check-in was easy and so was parking. The staff are very friendly and the gentleman that makes the drinks has a great sense of humor. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable although the location of our room was very noisy as it is right where all the deliveries occur for the hotel so we could hear vans driving on the gravel and opening doors during the night (Room 10). I would stay here again but would request not to be in this room as our friends were upstairs and said it was quiet."

"Our stay at the Lansdowne was wonderful- Corrine and Casey couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming. The breakfasts are delicious and the room was very comfortable, although a tad small for two of us. The building was built mid-1800’s and there is no lift — if you have mobility issues request a ground floor room. "
