"The hotel is a quintessential representation of an English countryside manor. Grounds are gorgeous, we loved our huge room and the pretty, old school bathroom, and the breakfast was high quality and delicious."
"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update.
Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book.
Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

Enchanting Grade II listed,Log Burner, allocated parking, town centre but secluded
10/10 Excellent
"We found this place to be a perfect little home base for exploring The Cotswolds by public transport and foot. It's just steps from the village center but, being tucked up at the end of a quiet lane, feels quiet and secluded. It's right on the Monarch's Way public footpath, affording access to almost unlimited walks to nearby villages, farms, historic sites and areas of natural beauty. Bus service in the area is very good, and the train station at Moreton in Marsh is a 30 minute bus ride away. We spent 10 days here and never regretted our decision to not hire a car.The accomodation itself is cozy, charming, well appointed and very comfortable for 2. We would not hesitate to book this place again should we decide to return to The Cotswolds. "
