Top Birdland Park and Gardens Hotel Reviews
The Dial House
10/10 Excellent
"Historic site wonderfully renovated. Lovely town….take advantage of the public footpaths to experience the beauty of Bourton-on-the-water. Parking is excellent."
The Lansdowne
8/10 Good
"The room was great however we were moved to another guesthouse down the road supposedly due to some maintenance issue. This wasnt what we booked and had confirmed as a ground floor room as we ended up in the first floor of another building. Apart from that all was good."
Old Bank Flat Beautiful Cotswold Apt
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at Old Bank Flat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The living area was also comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was lovely, although the bath may be a little awkward to get in and out of if you are shorter. The location is excellent — right in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, with plenty of good pubs, cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was good too, with plenty of spaces in the nearby paid-for car park. There is lots to see and do within walking distance. The Model Village is directly across the road and well worth visiting, with Birdland and the Cotswold Motoring Museum also close by. Stow-on-the-Wold, with its large Tesco, is only a short drive away if you want to stock up and cook yourself. The only minor downside is that, being so central, you can hear the shop downstairs setting up from around 7am. This wasn't a major issue for us, but light sleepers may want to bear it in mind. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout, both by phone and email. Overall, a lovely, well-equipped apartment in a fantastic location. We'd happily stay again."
Meadow Rise
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds, from Bath to Broadway! Breakfast was good. Bed was a bit hard, but accommodations were clean. Wendy and Clive are a great team!"
Unique & Characterful Jacobean Cottage w/own driveway 2 Min Walk to Village!
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Well Cottage was like living in a fairytale! The 15th century cottage has been updated with modern conveniences while maintaining its traditional charm. The location provides quiet privacy yet is only a two minute walk to the lovely River Windrush with clear water moving over stones and water fowl of various kinds. On either side of the river are shops and restaurants that look the same as they have for centuries and the pace of life is both restful and restorative. The real joy is with the people of Bourton-on-the-Water…and, their gentle dogs. You will feel a happiness and a welcome that is genuine and special in the English countryside! Back at the cottage after you excursions you can nestle in and cook in the well-furnished kitchen, read, watch tv, work on a puzzle or play games, all generously provided by the host! She is easy to access and quick to respond with any question or need. Check-in and check-out are clearly explained and once inside the cottage you find a binder with information explaining everything you need to know about the cottage in amazing detail. Tip: Plan your stay for as long as your holiday permits because you will not be ready to leave!"
Fairlie Cottage Overlooks the River in Bourton-on-the-Water parking for 3 cars.
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic, well-equipped property for a family stay. The location could not have been better - just steps away from so many lovely pubs, shops and restaurants, with great options for families. We used bourton on the water as a base and were still very close to other nearby Cotswolds towns to explore by car. We especially loved sitting in the quaint courtyard garden at the front of the house having a drink and watching the people stroll by and play in the river. The cottage itself is so pretty that we regularly saw people stopping to take photos of it!Inside, the property was cosy, spacious and thoughtfully equipped with essentials - small touches that made settling in really easy. We would happily stay again."
Old Bank Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice room. Breakfast delivered to the room. Great location. Parking and being right on main road (noise) only downfall. We did park just down the road after 6pm and were out before the 90 minute mark."
Secluded Cotswold Retreat with views
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location, great lodge and loved by our Children too. Has everything you need and would definitely return."
18th century period holiday cottage in the Cotswolds with garden - Lavender Cottage, Bourton

"Great, beautiful cottage in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Walkability was amazing. We even had a minor issue where my husband accidentally locked is out and communication was very quick and we resolved the issue within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!"
