Great hotel! Recommend highly. The room was comfortable and spacious. Ditto for the bathroom. Minor amount of wear and tear. Unfortunate that the coffee maker leaked. Exercise room was basic although warm. Terrific breakfast!

Had a great stay at The Grand Hotel. Lovely room, nice bar. Only slight downside was a chaotic breakfast on our second day. Service seemed to be left to one hard working lady and elements of the ‘full English’ had been shown to the grill rather than cooked more fully. In contrast, the previous day’s breakfast had been spot on.

One of my fave hotels in Bham and the only one I choose to stay in when visiting the city. Main bar accomodating to hotel guests, maybe the new jazz bar could keep tables open for hotel guests as would have loved to have visited but apparently fully booked
