"Attended a wedding celebration. All was good apart from breakfast. Waited as instructed for staff to welcome a seat you, nobody came so sat ourselves down. Breakfast advertised 6:30 to 9:30 we went for 9:05. Finished my cooking breakfast and went to toast some bread but at 9:35 told the buffet was closed and so not allowed toast! Heaven help you if you arrived at 9:30 very unusual arrangement "

"Lovely period hotel with good decor and clean throughout; staff also friendly and helpful. Only minor gripes were noisy creaking floorboards in room above and inability to get on the Wi-Fi. Gave a low ecofriendly score as unable to reduce room temperature (other than opening a window) and shower gel and shampoo in individual disposable bottles. Great place to stay though :-)"

"Absolutely spot on, although the rooms are a little dated they are super clean and spacious. The evening meal choice is great, and the quality is excellent and not over priced. Ideal hotel if you’re visiting the museum as it’s only a 5 minute drive away. Overall we had a brilliant weekend."

"Easy to find and all staff were friendly. Check-in straightforward. The room was a little dated but clean and quiet. Good amount of free parking although some deep potholes on the driveway.
