Lovely little country pub. Excellent full English breakfast. Lovely staff and a very friendly atmosphere

The perfect setting for a B & B. Excellent meals, service, comfort. Would certainly recommend. The views across towards Liverpool - outstanding and towards Wales.

Lovely location. Nice room. Air conditioning. Room with river view was a room with car park view and river glimpse. Bit disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at The Golden Eagle. Friendly and accommodating staff- thanks Martin for carrying our bags up, and very nice meals, helped us have a terrific start. The pub is so close to the town, the wall and the museums, that everything was easy to get to. Breakfast was bespoke to our needs and was top class. Thanks.

Our room had 2 lovely bedrooms! We had a beautiful bathroom (huge) which included a lovely bath. The candles in the bathroom were just lovely! The breakfast was very enjoyable. This is a hotel full of all the old charm one could wish for! We would definately recommend this hotel. Carrying the luggage up the steps was all part of the character of the hotel. Staff were very willing to help us with our luggage.

Was very nice with good pub food and great staff. TV didn't work as no signal
