Summary:
Set directly across the quiet coastal road from Onetangi Beach, with no houses in front, Beachfront Bliss is an updated 1950s cottage offering uninterrupted sea views, modern comforts, and an easy walk to some of Waiheke’s best beachfront dining.
The Space:
Beachfront Bliss blends the charm of a classic Waiheke bach with a fresh, modern feel. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area faces out to the water, keeping the home bright throughout the day. Cane armchairs, a feather-filled sofa, a six-seater dining table, and a smart TV with Netflix and cable create a relaxed, comfortable place to unwind after time on the beach.
The kitchen is simple and well equipped with a Breville coffee machine, Bosch dishwasher, and everything needed for easy meals. Large windows and sliding doors connect the living area to the outdoor deck, where cushioned loungers and a high-quality BBQ make outdoor dining straightforward.
Two bedrooms offer comfortable, hotel-style bedding and air-conditioning. The master includes a super-king bed, while the second bedroom has two king singles. The layout suits couples, friends, or a small family wanting a quiet, easy base metres from the sand.
The sheltered front deck is designed for year-round use, and from here it’s only a few steps across the coastal road to reach the beach, ideal for morning swims, long walks, or watching the evening light settle over Onetangi.

Getting Around:
Regular buses serve the island and connect Onetangi with Oneroa, Palm Beach, and the Matiatia Ferry Terminal.
Taxis are available but can be expensive, so the bus is a practical option.

Other Things to Note:
Waiheke relies entirely on rainwater tanks, and water is a limited natural resource on the island. To support sustainable living and protect local supply, especially during the drier summer months, we ask guests to be mindful of their water use throughout their stay.
