"The breakfast was varied and plentiful as on offer is continental style as well as a full English. Coffee and tea is self-served from a machine and I think it was amongst the best tasting coffee I have experienced from a machine. The staff and in particular Max was so friendly and helpful."

"You pay for basic you get basic, that’s not a bad thing though. The hotel is clean and warm the staff are friendly and helpful, parking is easy and on site. Great view and easy to get too. I would stay here again."

"Room was clean, staff were courteous, supportive and very responsive However, some additional care and energy should be directed at overall cleanliness and upgrade of amenities. During our second stay, we had to change room as the toilet bowl in our allocated room had terrible and visible stain underneath and this caused my wife (a very clean and meticulous woman) upset. Also, the installed heater was dysfunctional and an external heater had to be brought to us Overall we were pleased "

Room very spacious but was feeezing. No hearing has been put on before our arrival and we had to sit in our coats for ages before it warmed up. Very good location for visiting town on foot "

"Pros: Parking and location. Cons: Rooms and corridors need renovation. Heating was terrible with draft coming from "Off" AC, and radiator in adequate. Hairs and generally dirty bathroom, hadn't been cleaned. Really cheap toilet paper - had to fold about 6 time to stop it disintegrating! "

"We had an amazing stay for my partners birthday. The little touches that the hotel did were so lovely. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Make sure you eat at the Korean cowgirl as it was great potion sizes and good value for money. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the spa, if it was a bit bigger and had more loungers."

"Staff were very good. Room was good, with a large comfortable bed, decent shower and an iron and board. However March 28th and we couldnt get any life out of tge aircon, so was on the chilly side. (To be fair, we didnt ask about it so not sure if our room had an issue.) Breakfast was straightforward, but a good general selection. You get a "discounted" parking rate as a guest £6 instead of £12, but who else would be parking there? "
