Overnight Stay

Great location, ready for crossing on the Channel Tunnel next morning. Beautiful gardens, good food, very nice room. I hadn't realised there was no lift, but the friendly staff helped us with our suitcases 👍

Nice Place

Really nice place with great staff. It’s a lovely old building but the reception area could do with a freshen up, otherwise, excellent.

Good value hotel

Receptionist was so helpful, sat nav took me to a different place, rang and she guided me to the hotel, big friendly welcome. Rooms dated but large and clean, great breakfast, value for money.

Nice place to stay before our family wedding

Fabulous place to stay staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was exactly what we wanted rooms were comfortable and spacious we had a great shower in our bathroom. The bar was a lovely asset with the food and staff being brilliant.

This was a nice place to stay at. The morning breakfast was great and had lots of options for us. It was a little further out of Bath then I had thought, but easy enough to access and was away from the hustle and bustle of the main city.

Enjoyable stay

Although the hotel could do with a bit of TLC we can’t fault the cleanliness, good food and friendliness of the staff, they were always cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them . Also the bar had a great atmosphere with locals as well as guests using it and a lovely outside area/garden too.

We stayed here for an overnight before heading to the channel tunnel. We had bar food which was good but left before breakfast. The room was big and the bath towels were fluffy! Great parking too. All good and I’d use again

Great location for us to get to Eurotunnel the next day, staff were very friendly and accommodating, really made us and our dog welcome. Food was really nice. Room was comfortable if rather dated

Staying at the Conningbrook Hotel, Ashford.

Nice big old hotel, lovely features and friendly staff, especially Tom, he was a great guy and very friendly and helpful. Place was a bit tired looking from the last owners but since it has been took over its starting to look like a great place to stay at. Keep up the good work all staff there, you are all doing a great job!
