"The house was perfectly located right in the heart of Rye. Opposite one of the best pub/restaurants and minutes walk from all the lovely shops and restaurants of Rye. The kitchen was well kitted out with everything needed to prepare and cook a good meal. And the back patio has lovely views over the fields. There had been a leak just before our stay from the house next door which damaged some of the carpets and walls which the owner kindly prewarned us of, but didn’t cause any functional issues...

"We arrived on Friday afternoon, weather was rubbish !! On entering the property, the warm heating surrounded you. Lovely as it was getting cold outside. Looked around downstairs and upstairs I knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Felt home from home. Equipped with everything you could want. "The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, it is tiny but perfect for a couple. It has everything you need, an extremely comfortable bed and located in a peaceful lane, so a great place to relax. "

"We were a little apprehensive, given its close proximity to Pontins and potential car-parking issues with weekend visitors to the beach. Instead this is a quiet friendly estate with some children playing in the street (no playground as far as we are aware) and occasional dog walkers. "Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....
