"Nice location, New"
The hotel is located at Asakusa. 5-10min walk from subway station. Very convenient located near the famous Asakusa temple. There is also a supermarket across the street if you need grocery or snacks. The staff is very friendly and professional as expected from Japanese culture. Overall a pleasant stay.

"Excellent Little Hotel"
Excellent little hotel. Was only there one night but it was in a good location, easy to find and the hotel and room were solid. I have stayed in APA hotels in Japan and they are pretty solid and consistent.

"Well located and good valued hotel."
The cab from Ueno to the hotel took less than 10 minutes in the busy evening traffic and it only cost 1100 yens. The hotel's front counter staff were friendly and fluent in English, allowing for the fastest check in we have experienced. We shared a twin room with a view of the police box and a large Asahi flashing billboard across the main road. The room and bathroom were extremely small but neat and clean, while the linen was white and fresh. There was a privacy issue with the bathroom door as it was see through frosted glass. We found the beds were comfy with luggage space underneath. Breakfast was available at 1000 yens but we preferred the local cafes. Travelling to other places in Tokyo via the train involved walking 400 metres to the nearest subway at Tarawamachi station (Ginza line) to take the train to Ueno, Tsukji Market, Ginza or Shibuya. They also have a self serviced laundry on level 13 which we found handy, however there is only two washers and two dryers. We also found the nearby shopping and restaurants really good such as Don Quijote which is a mega market store containing everything you expect from a supermarket and discount store. Restaurants that we enjoyed included Tempura Tendon Tenya which serves various tempura with rice/noodle for under 1000 yens and also Asakusa Umayon Azuma which serves everything from Oden to set menus go to. After we checked out, they let us stored our luggage at the back of the Reception. A great place to stay!!

"Cozy room but small."
Overall i had an amazing experience. The room is smaller than ive expected. Ive stayed in several similar hotels before and this is by far the smallest ive been to. Ammenities are minimal but you may purchase extra ammenities items such as toothbrush.shaver soap etc at the lobby. Which of these were free at other hotels. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Good location too.

"Excellent small hotel beyond my expectations..."
I stayed in its Semi-Double Room for 5 nights with breakfast included. And I must say that the hotel is beyond my expectations with friendly reception, excellent breakfast buffet spread and of course, well-equipped cosy room for solo traveller like me. It is also located at a convenient location, which is between Kuramae and Asakusa stations. I would definitely love to stay in this hotel on my next visit to Tokyo !!

Pocket Guide: Taito Asakusa 3 stars Hotels

Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the city’s hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the city’s top attractions.
