".cosy and clean hotel close to the strip"
The hotel was easy to find just behind New York New York. A short 3/4 mile walk to the strip. Dennys on site was good. The food was good quality and the staff were very friendly. The casino was quite small but was adequate for a short time. Lot of choice of slots. The disappointing thing whilst we were there was that the spa was out of action until our last day and then it was great to use. The hotel staff were very good and always pleased to help.

"Not a bad place to stay. "
Honestly how much time do you spend in a room in Vegas? A clean room, hot shower and a place to sleep (although the bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard as a rock) is really all you need in Vegas since most people don't spend a lot of time in the room but in the casinos. The staff was nice and helpful, price was right so not a bad place at all. As for recommending to a friend, it depends on the friend, if they are used to higher end places, no. If they are like us and only need the basics, yes.

"Close to the airport and the Strip."
We arrived on a late flight and wanted something close to the airport for an overnight stay. This motel fit the bill perfectly. The gentleman who checked us in was pleasant, informative, and efficient in processing me in. He explained everything that we needed to know in a professional manner. The room was updated, clean, with plenty of towels. It had a king bed with nice sitting chair with ottoman and desk area as well as fridge and microwave. The wifi worked sufficiently and the TV was of good size with several channels including Showtime.

"Vegas on a Budget"
Arizonia Charlies is a hotel away from the strip and is mainly used by the local people who live and work in the area,it is also used by people who dont want to pay for the energy charge.I have been visiting Vegas since 1990 and always stayed at the Sahara which I loved, Arizonia Charlies gave me the same feel. The way I see it if its your first time in vegas then you should stay at one of the big boy hotels and get the real first time experiance but once you have been afew times then perhaps your ready to start saving money and enjoying more of vegas as it really is.But dont compare it with the big boys just take it for what it is cheap friendly and is clean in its some what dated rooms, but in which had everything you need for very little cost. You also have a Walmat and 99cent store in walking distance for everything you might need.I laways drive while in vegas and perhaps if you havnt got a car then it might be to far out,but for me it was perfect with a new refit now complete on the buffet and a 24 hour cafe and a subway and pizza as well and if you want a little more Rons Steak House. All doing great food staff great cant wait to go back next November.
