The simple foyer of this hotel is a huge deception of what is in side....It certainly lives up to all the amazing reviews. The hotel is overlooking the marina and15 minutes walking distance from the hustle and bustle of Waikki, and 10 minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping center.
The decor is clean and modern and very relaxing. The two pools are beautifully landscaped in an almost tranquil atmosphere, with free ice cream and suncream and urns full of cold water and a poolside bar.
The staff are exceptional, and nothing is ever too much.
We were lucky enough to upgrade to a front ocean view suite, that had the most comfortable white lounges and king bed. Free wifi and complimentary water everyday.
Will I recommend this hotel....certainly will. Did I love this hotel...certainly did. Two days back in Australia and we have re booked for the Christmas and New Year Holidays, what better recommendation than that.
More than I had expected! Lovely! We were greeted with leis and a huge friendly smile. Property is gorgeous. They upgraded our room when discovered we were celebrating our anniversary and sent up a bottle of champagne. The concierge was extremely helpful and friendly! It is connected to sister hotel next door and you are able to use all the facilities there as well. We got an amazing deal booking our hotel with flight, or we would have never stayed here. It made our stay in Hawaii even more special.
We loved the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. The hotel was the perfect location for us to be in the center of things and walk around town. We were on the 7th Floor which allowed for us to hear the bands playing at Dukes in the evenings, but not too loud that they disturbed our private time. We stayed in an Oceanfront room and the balcony was perfect. We spent hours and hours sitting there looking at the ocean. Our favorite part was that the balcony was glass enclosed, so we weren't looking through iron bars or over concrete walls to see the ocean. It was perfect! We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to others.
Great location, fantastic view, and windows that open WIDE!
Pool drink services available but you have to call.
Walk to beach, access to grocery very good.
Room could use a bit of decorating - very stark - but spacious.
Breakfast was way too expensive!
Arrived early morning and as I'd previously emailed the hotel, the roOm was ready and we were able to check straight in. This was a big bonus after a long flight from Australia. Staff were all friendly and helpful and as we had a late flight out on our final day we were able to leave our bags and even have access to a Courtesy room for a shower before leaving for the airport. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anybody.
This was our third stay at the Trump and we will be back again - love the hotel, love the service and the fabulous staff - the only downside in our view is the restaurant - not to our taste - service was great but a so so menu.
Very nice hotel in Waikiki. Close to the beach with great amenities. Watched fireworks on the beach at night and walked around the shops downtown. Great restaurants that are close to the hotel. A little expensive for my taste but it was my honeymoon so I decided to splurge a bit. Overall it was a great experience.
Waikiki established its reputation as a getaway when the Moana Surfrider opened its doors in 1901. Today, more than 30,000 hotel rooms are packed in the skyscrapers along the golden sands of Waikiki Beach. At the end of Waikiki, Diamond Head towers as an enduring landmark. West of Waikiki, Pearl Harbor offers a somber testament to history and the victims of World War II.
