Everything was great. I can't thank Veronica at concierge enough. We parasailed, jet skied, hiked, snorkeld, went on a cruise and went to paradise coves luau. We had a blast throughout our stay. The only thing I didn't like was that the adult pool was rented out for a wedding. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel we even made it to addiction night club at the modern which was really good :D
Close to the beach and restaurant. Very accessible! Was so happy coz they allowed us to do an early check-in. Staff was friendly & accommodating. They gave us a partial ocean view which i really loved. We have a little balcony and you can view the ocean from there. I recommend this hotel & would definitely be going back!
The hotel staff was great but the $30 per day to park at the hotel was not. This should have been added to the room rate or told at time of booking. We would not have rented a car for the week had this been told up front. We only used the car two times all week and turned the car in early.
We had a wonderful time at the Moana Surfrider. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are very accommodating. Our room was on the street side of the hotel which was very noisy. Book a room in one of the towers or facing the beach.
Was good location and nice facility. Would have preferred more dining options and less per day "resort fee". Pool is not open after 7pm and there is no jacuzzi which would be nice on vacation. if you are a smoker, there is no good smoking section. Only dining facility is pricey, even for breakfast buffet.
I was given room #900 whic is directly next to the elevator shafts! The noise was all night long, cars going up and down all night. They need to sound proof these rooms better or else, not rent them out and use them for storage or something else. Before you check into your room, ask if it abuts the elevators!
Nice interior and exterior, above avg service, easy access to the wakiki, easy access to abc store, and easy access if you drive in and out. Overall it was amazing. Cheapest room is better than most room in other hotels.
Waikiki established its reputation as a getaway when the Moana Surfrider opened its doors in 1901. Today, more than 30,000 hotel rooms are packed in the skyscrapers along the golden sands of Waikiki Beach. At the end of Waikiki, Diamond Head towers as an enduring landmark. West of Waikiki, Pearl Harbor offers a somber testament to history and the victims of World War II.
