“wedding anniersary”
Our wedding anniversary..Went up there to have night away from the kids and to chill out
“Pleasantly surprised”
I was a little dubious about Sky city as I had imagined it to be very run down but given the price I paid I thought it was all relevant. Needless to say when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel looked like it had gone through a big refurb (suspect due to the world cup last year) and the rooms were very tastefully decorated. My family who stayed at Sky Grande just recently had said that the rooms at Sky were bigger and nicer.
“Looking forward to next time”
We had a great injoyable stay, our room was right outside a seating area, which we could watch the bungy jumping while enjoying a glass of wine, Fabulous.

Clean room. Fast and efficient service. Friendly and helpful staff. Wide variety of facilities (not to mention the casino inside). Overall very good value for money.
“Action Packed in the heart of Auckland!”
Sky City is a lovely property full of action to cater everyones need and close to all the action you can find in Auckland. You can literally walk to every where. This hotel has so much on offer in way of well appointed, luxuriously comfortable rooms, world class restaurants, casino, health club, music venue and lovely staff with all smile - what more you can ask for??? I had a small concern about the orange juice that was served on our breakfast that did not tasted like an orange juice, the restaurant manger Meghan immediately addressed the issue and brought back a class of orange juice that tasted like one. Even a small thing like this fixed instantly, we can't wait to go back. We also enjoyed our dinner in the revolving restaurant ORBIT, breakfast in Observatory and dinner & breakfast in Rebo where Meghan is the manager. It was a great fun watching the locals swinging their life away at the Deck enjoying free live music. Man, they have the rhythm running in their vein I must say! We had great three nights at the Sky city and I would certainly recommend to anyone. Thank you Sky City & Expedia!
“Sky city baby”
For my first stay i had a good time, i found the staff friendly and helpful.I would recommend room service for brekky unless you go to the restaurant at 6am cos the hot food was cold.Sky citys in a good place close to everything. yea id go back, woud'nt mind staying at her mum's though(sky city grand)

“Excellent Location! Great value for your money!!”
Skycity Hotel is very centrally located, walking distance to the harbor and other attractions. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable. I would stay here again and would recommend it to other travellors. The staff were helpful. There was no internet availability in the hotel but there was an internet cafe opposite the hotel that offered services at $2 (NZ) for 30 minutes - enough time to check emails.
“A great place to be”
We found this hotel wonderful as all the staff were very helpful and put you at ease. Our daughter left her favourite soft toy behind and they had him on the courier the next day to make a young girl happy. We would definitely recommend this hotel as you can walk to everything also and there are great restaurants there. Well done sky city.
“A FANTASTIC STAY”
I highly recommend this hotel. It was in a great central position and had a great variety of well priced restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful, particularly, concierge staff who assisted in every which way they could. I was sick the day that I arrived, and the front staff made the room available to me well before the required check in time at no extra charge. I really appreciated their assistance and understanding. As for their buffet breakfast it was FANTASTIC!!! Thanks for a great stay. I WILL BE BACK
