The modern styled hotel offers a new experience overlooking the Danube river and the heart of Vienna City.
We enjoyed the exquisite view and found the nearby subway (U-bahn) station very practical.
The hotel offered overall a positive experience, from the friendly staff, elegant facility, good cuisine and stylish spirit. Room was comfortable and spacious and booking a "Level" room have us a wonderful river view on the 12th floor. The daily offer of coffee capsules for the in-room machine was as indulgence.
We just found the wardrobe lighting insufficient and the space for hanging clothes little vs. the shelves.
No major comments really, it is valuable experience for a couple or even a family that is with the cost.
We stayed for 2 nights only and had limited use of the hotel's facilities but everything was as expected, and of a high standard. Staff were polite and very helpful. My friends arranged a late-night delivery of a dessert platter to our room to celebrate my birthday and the hotel didn't charge us for it, which was a nice touch.
Great location, 10 min walk to everything. This small hotel is understated elegance ...the room, although not large, was well appointed and relaxing, the bathroom was large, with a heated floor and an oversized shower, and the fitness center with pool and full Spa was a treat after a full day of touring. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had...delicious, extensive, and beautifully presently. The hotel staff was friendly, very helpful and anxious to please. The San Souci was a wonderful choice for my 4 day stay in Vienna.

"Modern and friendly hotel right by the opera house"
We had a great long weekend. The hotel is modern, comfortable with a great bathroom. All staff were friendly and helpful. We did not eat in apart from breakfast (which was good with a wide variety of foods). There are art installations everywhere and the art in the rooms was clever and interesting.
It's right in the heart of the city with Cafe Central (an amazing and historical place for food and dessert) literally 20 feet away. You can walk anywhere. The rooms were comfortable with heated marble floors in the bathroom. We had a hard time figuring out how to make the room a little colder, the setting wouldn't go below 19.5.
