We stayed 2 nights and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Check in time was a little late and the room was not ready at 3 as promised, but the lobby had an awesome atmosphere, so so hanging out was not a burden! Awesome ambience throughout the hotel! The contemporary style was different from any other hotel I've been to. Clean room, awesome staff, great stay!

This was our first visit to New York for our anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We did all the usual sights and in particular liked The Top Of The Rock - The Rainbow Room ( expensive but worth it ) and walking the Brooklyn Bridge . The weather was warm (October) and we even got to visit BB Kings Jazz Club. The carriage ride through Central Park is a must. 5th Avenue was everything you would expect and a great shopping experience and Grand Central station was amazing . Lots of walking to be done and a photo opportunity on every corner . In short a fabulous time.
We will definitely be returning.
Fantastic location safe and secure good breakfast near hop on hop off bus routes walking distance from theatres time square on the doorstep great gift shop at good prices. 24 hour deli next door great restaurants in walking distance no complaints about the Edison
Just had a great time the hotel staff were just amazing nothing was a problem for them and they really added to our holiday experience. The hotel is located in a ideal location for sightseeing just a 10min walk to Times Square. I would book here again no hesitation
"Hilton Garden Inn Times Square - King bed w/view"
Hotel was in a great location in the centre of Times Square. Room was very modern with large flat screen and great bath, though it did take a while for hot water. The inclusion of a fridge and mircowave meant we always had chilled wine and able to heat up late night snacks. One draw back we found were the pillows were much too firm. Room also had floor to ceiling windows with a view of the busy square below. Staff were nice and helpful and with a main subway hub on the corner of the building meant fast tranversing of the city on our numerous exercursions. Bottom line a very nice new hotel at a fair price in a even better location. 5/5

If you're looking for a hotel that has clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff and within walking distance to many attractions then I wholly recommend this one. Just a five minute walk to Central Park and if you're new to New York, once you've found your bearings then most sights are easily found.Any staff that I got involved with were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily to my satisfaction.
Great first impressions, check in staff were nice after a long journey. Room was clean and well appointed, having a kitchen was brilliant and added flexibility to the stay ie being able to stay in for the night, being able to buy supplies for the stay. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, tasty and with lots of choice however the serving did get busy so get there early. We were able to leave baggage after check out which was very helpful so we could make the most of our stay.
I've stayed at Pod 39 a couple of times, and both times I was pleasantly surprised. I've stayed in the smallest room with the bunk beds and they are very comfortable, always clean and I sleep well. They are good rooms if you plan to be out of the hotel most of the time, and only sleep there or if you are on a budget and don't want to go all skanky dirty with sub par hotels. Its close enough to things that you can hop in a cab and be anywhere within a few minutes, or walk around the area (it feels pretty safe) and find places to eat or grab a cup of coffee. I would definitely stay again.
We booked two rooms for 8 nights from the 16th of October 2014 and had an excellent experience. Our rooms were on the 39th and 55th floor. Both rooms were a good size and the views were amazing. Decor was stylish and up to date and all facilities were good.
Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic! A very easy walk to Time Square and all the Broadway shows. Great little eating places all around the area too. Breakfast was excellent and the free Wi-Fi was a very welcome addition. Will be recommending this hotel and will be staying there next time we visit NYC. This hotel is more 4 star than 3!
