We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights. Everyone at the Hotel was very accommodating, friendly and great. I actually left my wallet at the lobby bar one night and the bartender turned it in, the front desk personnel left me a very nice note under my door that night that they had turned it into security and that I could pick it up the next morning.
The location was great to access all areas of New York City and the food in both restaurants was tremendous.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Edison, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are a good size. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was lovely and warm. Great location, 2 minutes from Times Square. Will definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at The Manhattan at Times Square. It was close to most everything we wanted to do -- see the lighting of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center, shopping, going to the Today program, seeing the store windows on Fifth Avenue. Checking in was easy and pleasant and the staff was quick to change our room when the first room smelled quite strong of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We stored our luggage upon check-out so that we could do some more sightseeing but it was quite a lengthy wait when we returned to retrieve our luggage and head to the airport. The reason we were given was that a lot of people stored their luggage so they had to go through several rooms to find ours. Otherwise, we have no complaints. I loved their pouches they give you for filtered water. We could fill them up and take them with us for the day.
Selected based on trip advisor recommendations and did not disappoint. Hotel staff very helpful. Hotel clean warm and comfortable and a very reasonable standard for the price we paid. Location handy and we walked most places from Times Square to Central Park. Only surprises were space to walk around the room - bedwas massive and took up most of room- and there is no bar or place to eat other than breakfast. But there are lists around.
All in all we were very happy with choice
Was a great hotel and great location! The staff was very friendly. When I arrived at 10am, they gave me a room right away. The view from the room was amazing, I could see the world trade center...was beautiful! The room was very clean as well. I also asked for a late check out until 1pm and was granted the request. My flight left at 9pm and they allowed me to keep my bags behind the desk until I was ready to leave. New York city was amazing. Dunkin donuts around the corner and a Duane trade around the other corner. Little Italy was super close by as well!

With its excellent Midtown location and modern decor, this boutique hotel is a great choice for New York City. The rooms are quite small but space is used efficiently. It is quiet and some rooms have nice views. There is a nice bar and restaurant on property and a comfortable lobby.
