We stayed 2 nights and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Check in time was a little late and the room was not ready at 3 as promised, but the lobby had an awesome atmosphere, so so hanging out was not a burden! Awesome ambience throughout the hotel! The contemporary style was different from any other hotel I've been to. Clean room, awesome staff, great stay!

Had a lovely visit. The staff were so kind and helpful. Happy hour on Tuesady with happy lou was fantastic in the lobby. Will stay again and tell friends. A real New York experience. Meet folks from all over the world each day.
Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Fab location. Lifts can be a pain, especially at breakfast time. Lacks a personal touch as staff are always busy. Fair choice at breakfast time but didn't fancy it daily. Would say this is more of a professional/corporate hotel.
Chose this hotel for its location and retro appearance. Upon checking the reviews, I was a bit anxious, as they were so mixed - from great to horrid. After spending 5 nights there, I wondered where the guests who rated it so poorly stayed! EVERY member of the staff was courteous and friendly. The room was spotless, and we were able to get it serviced at 4 in the afternoon when we had slept in. The marble floor was slippery with socks on, but not treacherous! The hotel was quiet, even though there was a fire station 1/2 block away. The location of the hotel was ideal for us. A few blocks to the subway, and a few blocks to most of the theaters. The elevators could fit about 10 people and luggage and the longest wait we had was less than 5 minutes. We plan to return there when we visit NYC again.
"Nice, clean hotel, close to Grand Central Station"
I was traveling with my wife. Hotel staff was very kind. Our room was ready when we got there. They even upgraded our room since we were going to stay for 5 nights. The rooftop bar is really nice. I didn't stay for drinks, though, so I can't make a comment about the service. The hotel has an excellent location. 5-minute walk to Grand Central, and from there you can practically go anywhere. Plenty of places nearby to eat and have drinks. It's a good option if you're looking for a decent fare in Manhattan and a clean place with a private bathroom.
Could have stayed in our room all day and admired the view but had to get out into the city. Hotel is very central to lots of Atractions, Grand Central Station, Chrysler building, Rockefeller centre and the GE building. Also lots of museums and of coarse Central Park, a breath of fresh air in the city.Hustle and bustle, clean and friendly.
Lots to do or pick up a chair in one of the small parks, position it where you want to and simply watch the world go by.Always something happening and if you are as lucky as we were, a beautiful Hotel to return to. Many thanks for a great stay.
