The hotel feels like a mix of something old world with modern twist around and its fun to stay in, the little catch phrases and the hotel lobby with DJ and event every night was sooo fun, I will stay here anytime I come to the city

We booked the weekend at the Wellington so I could surprise my fiance with a proposal on top of the Empire State building along with a couple of Broadway shows and other sightseeing fun. The hotel was great. The Bell Captain was very helpful and the entire staff was super friendly. The room was comfortable with a great view of the city and a bit of Central Park. The room was a little hot but opening the windows did sollve that problem. We would definately go back to the Wellington again.
Fantastic traditional hotel , with style and comfort, staff and support cleaners etc, all very good.
The Edison cafe next door has a fantastic menu, food is excellent.
Tube line is 5min walk to anywhere you want to go, downtown, uptown.
The Edison is a great place to stay and easy access to all the shows n stars.
Times Square 1minutes walk.
Stayed here 10-15 November . Hotel is in prime position for everything . I'd defently stay here again . There is a wifi charge of 22 dollars a day but just ask for this to be removed as you can get it for free anyway
Had a wonderful stay wish it could have been longer. We were attending an event at Carnegie Hall which is right across the street. Upon check-in we got our room upgraded to a suite--Lucky us. The room was excellent. The staff was professional, friendly and courteous.
Have stayed in a few hotels in New York but the Distrikt Hotel was by far the best. All staff very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable and quiet. Near port authority bus station and subway and ten minute walk to Times Square. Would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel highly to anyone looking for a first class hotel.

Four of us shared our room with two double beds. Location of this hotel was excellent. We were a short walk to Times Square, Bus Station and Hop on Hop off transportation. The kitchenette was an added bonus with a full size fridge for storage, as well as dishwasher, microwave and stove top. The complimentary meet and greet Mon - Thurs was very nice. We especially enjoyed it upon arrival after a long travel day - the food and spirits were wonderful. We will definitely use this hotel on our next girls shopping weekend in NYC. Also, beds were super comfortable and once inside your room you didn't hear any noise from other patrons, elevators or road.
Found this hotel on Expedia--no more expensive than any NYC hotel in the area, and less than many. Not right on the main streets, so quieter. We walked to Central park, several restaurants and two Broadway shows. Staff was great. Brought more towels very quickly on request, fixed stopped up tub drain within minutes of report, all very polite and friendly. Beds were quite comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.
