"This was our second time at this property, which has excellent location within Times Square. On this 7 night trip, we were given a room on the 43rd floor, which was quiet. The beds were great and large bathroom had good lighting.
We loved being able to walk to almost every neighbourhood to shop/sightsee daily. The theatres are all close together and there are endless dining options nearby. The noise from the streets below did not transfer into room like our previous NY hotel. The high floor location and the constant use of elevators did give me vertigo initially. The dining room/bar are a quick option as well, and we were able to use our $40/day credit here. This credit offset the daily resort fee payable. We didn’t realize we were also given one free ticket per night stayed (7 for us) to various local attractions. This was definitely a bonus! We were able to do the hop on/off, wax museum, and natural history museum at great savings. There is a handy gift shop in the hotel if you need snacks/souvenirs, but most items were not priced, which was frustrating. At the register, they rang in at very high prices! While the Starbucks in the lobby was also convenient, the prices are higher than if you go to a regular Starbucks down the street. Staff were very friendly in all areas within the hotel, especially the housekeepers and concierge. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, water provided, umbrella borrowed, and mini fridge for leftovers. Will return!"
"Room and.location were good. Check in was a nightmare due to log line. We had somewhere to be so left bags with bag service instead if checking in which saved a lot of time. Bag service was great. "
"Location location! Everything was so close. The hotel is older but beautifully maintained. We would have liked a mini fridge or microwave, but overall we were comfortable and safe. "
