"A lovely hotel, very clean, tidy and modern. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Plenty of space in the restaurant and places to relax. This hotel is in a great location with quite a few eateries within a 5 min drive. "

"From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom had a wet room lovely bath and even a TV built in. In the bar area the bar staff were very attentive and cheerful, such a pleasure, and there was a lovely lounge style area in which you could enjoy your drink and chat. Later we went through to the dinning area that has a lovely feeling to it. The waitress was very attentive and so polite, talking time to chat to us. The food arrived quickly and was wonderful, well presented and fresh, just the right size of portions. The breakfast the following day didn't disappoint either, great choice and very fresh. Great way to start the day. We are looking forward to returning soon and would highly recommend a stay there to anyone. All the staff and management were a credit to the pub/hotel. 10/10"

"We only stayed for a night and it was hot, but the room was airy with the window open a little. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I hadn't realised breakfast was included because we'd have got up a little earlier but we managed a piece of toast before we had to checkout. The main road outside is a little noisy but it seems that entertainment in Middlewich for youngsters is limited to driving around... However, the Boars Head was still a great place to stop over before our canal trip!"

"Easy quick check-in, room nice and clean, very comfortable bed, glad a fan was provided as the night was extremely humid. Great breakfast and good time availability, nice to have the 7am option. Perfect location for our needs, Oulton Park Racing circuit and Chester Zoo. Car park has barrier so car feels secure. Nice countryside location. Will book again should I venture to Cheshire again."
